Went here expecting big things... as I have been previously and had a brilliant time and the food was lovely. On a previous visit I had a fantastic fish finger sandwich, the bread was thick and the fish fingers were equal to the amount of bread. Today we went and I ordered the same thing, thinking I'd get the same,... More

We had a nice brunch here, although we got very cold as we had to queue for quite a while outside before we could be seated inside. Food was very good, although the menu for savoury dishes seems smaller now. However, the service is not what it was. The inside areas can also get very noisy with young children -... More

I've been coming here for years and absolutely love it. Their mac and cheese is amazing but the cake is the main attraction. So much choose. I especially like the banoffee pie!! If you decide to sit outside in the colder months they offer blankets and a hot water bottle (I'd recommend their the works hot chocolate to also warm... More

We used to visit the tenth hole quite regularly but it's seriously gone down hill!! On the last two visits we have noticed that take away cake slices are the same price but much smaller portions than eating in, and flavoured coffees have far too much syrup in! Disgusting! On the last visit, my partner picked a cake from the... More

This is a wonderful and vibrant cafe in Southsea. The cake selection is an extravagant selection of homemade cakes and bakes. The rest of the menu is well cooked ingredients, served in generous portions. The coffee is excellent quality. If you're in the area this cafe is definitely worth a visit.

Have visited several times and the food and cakes are always excellent. Be prepared to queue a while although this little gem is well worth the wait.

Met a friend for lunch, we both had fishfinger sandwiches, that night we both spent the next week in serious pain, lost 8lbs in weight. Got to know my toilet intimately. Did not return calls when we were fit again. Terrible experience, will report to authorities. This cafe was at centre of a major food poisoning scare a few years... More

Visited on an off-season Sunday, and we still had to queue! Not surprising really, because the range of cakes is huge, and there is a good light meals menu too. The huge scones we had were a little on the dry side (so we had to heap on more cream!), but my daughter's chocolate cake was nice and moist. Her... More

I came in today, and being a vegan it's hard to find places that do sell vegan cakes so that's why I chose to come here for tea and cake. They only have one choice of vegan cake and when ordered the response I received was- sorry we don't have any today. Not that they had ran out, they just... More

We have visited The Tenth Hole on many occasions and it never ceases to delight. The food is always excellent and the staff are awesome, very friendly and above all, always smiling and eager to please. The breakfast is particularly good and testament to this are the queues of customers waiting to savour the wonderful fare. Then there are the... More

Description
We are a buzzing little tearooms on Southsea Seafront....adjoined to a 9 hole golf course, we offer scrumptious breakfasts, lunches and delicious cakes! We provide a friendly and relaxed environment, overlooking the golf course, whilst offering freshly prepared meals and cakes. Southsea Golf Links is a 9 hole pitch and putt links course. 'Links course' means 'by the sea' and, as such, the course offers a more challenging environment - due to its exposure to the elements! The course ranges from 50 to 91 metres holes.
