The pub is easily found and has a set price two course lunch. The menu looked great and the starters we ordered were each large enough for two to share. (Terrine and the white bait). The main courses were typical pub food (fish and chips and sausage with mash). The sausages were tasty and local from the butchers across the... More

Never in my life have i been treated in such a manner...appalling service...public houses such as this represent the local community very badly..i feel sorry for tourists that are visiting this town..Winchcombe is a good town with good people..such a shame for such a nice community to have a public house like this in town...represented by a manager that does... Really enjoyed the meal at the (newly named) White Hart Inn. It's a proper pub menu with all the usual pub classics but very well done. I had the pie and my partner the chicken and chips and both were lovely. Food was reasonably priced. Service was good, good selection of ales and nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend if hearty,... More

Having lived in Cheltenham for 15 years we finally decided to try The White Hart. We've been in several times, really liked what we saw and have even had a (great) coffee and a drink at the bar. This time we decided to try a Sunday family meal. We had the beef, the lamb and the salmon - all fairly... More

Wine and Sausage is no more. Now The White Hart and the food is awful. No ambience, poor cooking and indifferent staff. Definitely not worth the money. We will not be going again. Shame because we were regular customers.

Thank you for your reply Jonathan. However, I feel I must raise the following points: - we are still under the same ownership/management - we still have the same staff - we still have the same regular customers creating the same ambience - we still offer exactly the same food at exactly the same prices (we have never offered ONLY... Had lunch here on a recent visit to Winchcombe, and it was a good meal, the sausages were beautiful. It was a nice meal, very filling. The service and Staff were good.

Had a lovely two course lunch here for £12 special. We both had whitebait to start which was a huge portion and really nice, then we had sausage and mash, 3 huge sausages and loads of mash but I was disappointed in the onion gravy, quite bland. When we went to pay they overcharged us by £10 as the young... More

Well we knew what to expect and we certainly got it. Simply Sausage and mash no!! Great Sausage and and choice of mash yes. The main course was great value and really felt we had filled even the pudding pocket's, but then you have to look at whats on offer for afters. Two of our party succumbed to the tempting... More

Was advised Bar area was - which was fair enough and we were absolutely delighted to have paid a visit...
