I had a lovely cheese ploughman's in this old pub. Service was friendly. The gents could do with modernization. All in all a good place to stop off for lunch.

Our Sunday lunch was entirely acceptable but lacked variety in the menthe service was good and the staff were approachable and friendly Good choice of beers and gins and a decent bottle of red wine with the meal

Yes there were dogs in the bar. Not sure on price of Sunday roast as ate in the evening.
