First time we we went there asked for a baby bottle to be heated. The answer was no. That was 2 years ago.
Went there tonight. Asked for a bowel of chips was told they had got rid of chefs. About 20 mins later guests...More
Friendly host and spotless rooms. Wonderful view and good breakfast to be found at the village shop around the corner. Some renovations being done which look like they are going to be wonderful for the summer.
Ken ,our host, was very friendly, however this old pub is very much a work in progress. Should be much better when it's finished. Bed was comfy and clean but the carpet needed attention and the room felt sparse. It had a newly fitted en-suite,...More
We stopped off for a drink with the kids on the hottest day of the year so far. We sat in the ‘beer garden’ which is in fact a building site full of broken furniture and rusty nails sticking out of the so called seats....More
Great cosy little place this!! The food was amazing and the staff were amazing too. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone and they even had the Masters on so I don’t miss out on the final day of the golf! Brilliant stuff. Thanks again!...More

I ate a meal from the same menu as the complainant and having read the review she left, thought it pertinent to reflect the points she made in my review, especially as she was so clearly, factually, wrong. I have no financial interest in the pub, nor any reason to believe that I would benefit from my review.
