Portion sizes are huge. Unfortunately what you get is a soggy mush of a fish and chip supper. Ended up eating about 20% of it before giving up on it. Surprised how they keep in business if they serve this drivel up each time.
Been here twice to assuage my addiction to good old fish+chips.
Nice staff, reasonable price and good quality fish.
Seems pretty popular with the locals too.
Grab your food and go and sit in the lovely little park near the church opposite.

We visited one evening, found the shop closed with a back in 10 mins sign on the door. We waited only a couple of mins but when the guy came back we had some very dry over- cooked fish and a meagre portion of chips...More
It's a bit of a leap of faith to walk across the road at the top of the high street and visit this traditional little gem. Fantastic food, so fresh and yummy and MASSIVE portions too. The guys who run it are lush as well!...More
