Very good pub grub with a Mediterranean/North African twist - sardines, garlic and onions served on a skillet. Chicken, Parma Ham sandwich and salad. Well kept Doom Bar worth a sample (or few pints) Staff are excellent - especially Holly Highly recommended Enjoy :-)

From the moment of walking in, the experience was just right. I was very impressed with the welcome. The service was efficient and very friendly. Nothing was too much for the staff although it felt genuine and not sycophantic. Good ale! Fabulous food which was not overpriced. The waiting time for the meals was not too long but then the... A proper pub in the heart of the town. Great for people of all ages and you can bring the dog too. I eat here regularly as I bring friends to sample their great Sunday Lunch. In the Winter there's a welcoming 'real' roaring fire.....just perfect on a cold Cotswold day. Many of my foreign travelling friends can't wait to... More

We were in Cirencester only for the evening and was looking for a place to have dinner. We saw The Crown's menu and entered. The place was a bit disappointing with not a very good welcome, and both chairs and tables were sticky - it didn't feel very clean. But we ordered to meals and hoped for the best And... More

Really nice food in a great setting apart from the seating is uncomfortable and a 50p charge to pay with a card?? other than that the food was great, the staff are friendly and informative of the menu and the food was very tasty.

Love how they change up the menu seasonally but make sure the key favourites are still included. Also, the small chicken caesar salad was amazing and still very filling.

Had lunch here on a Friday. Quiet at first but suddenly became busy with locals having their lunch break. Not a problem as The Crown is very spacious, some very big tables for larger groups. Mid price menu, plenty of choice. I chose haddock chips peas £11 95. Menu and price comparable to similar pubs in and around Cirencester. We... More

Popped into this pub for a quick drink whilst waiting for other members of our party to arrive. The young lady behind the bar was very welcoming and served us with a smile. Was a bit surprised that there was a 50p charge on card payments and had I not had cash this would have been a reason not to... More
