We had pre-ordered but with 20 of us for dinner and some late additions and changes we were a demanding group. The staff at The Daffodil were superb. They were so friendly and helpful and very accommodating. The food was great and all served together and we were looked after well for drinks. Izabella was our lead waitress and did... More

I visited this on a friday evening to sample the early-bird menu. It offers a great selection at a good value. The food was well cooked, and staff were friendly and attentive. Why isn't this a 5-star review? Not the restaurant's fault, but the atmosphere lacked which is a shame given the stunning building. Definitely a recommendation however.

The space is awesome-- a former theater with huge ceilings and art deco fixtures. The food is unspectacular but well-prepared. Live jazz is a plus.

My wife & I visited this restaurant recently whilst visiting Cheltenham. It is in a lovely old art deco style cinema. When we arrived we went upstairs to the bar for a drink before the meal the cocktails were excellent. When the table was ready we were escorted down the staircase into the main dining area which I thought was... More

We dined at the Daffodil a few times under the previous ownership. It became progressively disappointing - oh well. The Daffodil closed in January and we locals were saddened - but then a 'spring flowering' took place and it reopened a couple of months later under new owners. They already have other interests - Browns Restaurant in Worcester for example.... More

Great art art deco feel to the place. Good was great, service was great. Partner said the steak was OK and they could be a bit more imaginative with the vegetarian dishes - the chickpea curry type dish wasn't very flavourful.

A truly beautiful restaurant in the Art Deco style. You feel like you have been transformed back to the 1930s whether you are sitting upstairs in the balcony in a booth or downstairs in front of the open kitchen. Live music too, often a jazz combo of some sort. However there the 10/10 experience ends as the food doesn't live... More

Difficult not to get too carried away as this was an amazing experience. The ambience was fantastic. The staff were superb. The food was varied and excellent. Overall service was faultless. Welcomed by the owner who recognised my wife from another of his venues. Nice gesture. Can't praise the place highly enough and hope to return another time.

Super venue, great atmosphere, good food. All very clean and newly renovated. Helpful and friendly staff available within 5 seconds of you looking up. Not to be missed. (it would be a 5 but the food was more of a 4.)
