Had a vegetarian curry and a bottle of merlot. Food was superb and a great venue. Usual CHELTENHAM parking issues but this old cinema building is great. Highly recommend for a nice meal

We visited this restaurant on Friday for our wedding anniversary dinner. We visited them before about 3 years ago, and we had a lovely meal there. I am not sure if the chef has been changed since the management is changed, but we were disappointed by their food. The venue is so special, and lovely atmosphere. The restaurant was very... More

I haven't been here since the Daffodil reopened so I was looking forward to seeing what it was like. This is a very unusual and impressive venue, having been converted from an Art Deco cinema. Many original features appear to have been restored sympathetically and the venue lends itself well to a good night out. 5 of us went for... More

This was the second time we came here, I was a bit disappointed. We had an early dinner so it wasn't busy. But surprisingly there was a lot of waiting around for the food, yet when my starter arrived it was cold. I cant imagine how long you have to wait when the restaurant is actually busy. The mustard sauce... More

Hadn't been here for a while due to some previous poor experiences. However, since reopening it was excellent. Great setting, friendly staff, good menu and delicious food. Excellent, hope it stays like this

Quite honestly probably one of my best dining experiences in the last few years. I am a foodie and travel constantly on business. The Daffodil ticked every box and has now become my favourite place to impress clients as well as my wife. This is going to cost me! I was lucky enough to be entertained by a jazz quartet... More

I was treated to a surprise birthday meal at The Daffodil last night, as I had always wanted to dine here. The girls treated ourselves to cocktails which were very good and got the evening off to a lovely start. A couple of our party were delayed but there was no problem with holding off the main event until they... More

A great night out a few Mondays ago ,sipping cocktails in this wonderful old cinema building and listening to live, mellow jazz. Tasty sharing platters to nibble and excellent service.
