Exquisitely tasty at all stages. Polite and non-intrusive service. Great wine list. A real find. Superb value for money. Do not believe the negative comments shown below, they are simply untrue. Est Est Est

Simply extraordinary. A meal, nay an experience, beyond all expectations. Lovely food, lovely service and a meal which sets the bar against which all subsequent restaurant visits will have to be measured. A memorable evening. Highly recommended.

Having lived in Cheltenham for three years I don't know why it has taken us so long to go to this restaurant but it is something we will remedy. The meal was fantastic. From entering the restaurant everyone was polite and charming and couldn't have done more to make our meal and visit such an enjoyable one. Lovely little tasters... More

4 people Friday night. This is a discreet little restaurant.elegant surroundings, attentive staff, beautiful food and a relaxed atmosphere. You would never think some of the flavours would work together but they do. So not only is this a great experience it's a learning one to.!!! The wine list was good and our waitress very helpful. We went for the... More

I went with friends to dinner and one of the party couldn't eat any of the starters due to allergies - she asked if she could have something simple as a starter like a small salad - the front of house looked as if she had been weaned on a pickle at the suggestion and having said she doubted it... We had been given vouchers for our 10th wedding anniversary and decided to go with friends I am shellfish allergic and was worried about cross contamination; the starters are fancy eg lots of shellfish kid or rabbit. No vegetarian option His wife was asked if they could make me a plain salad for a starter she was extremely rude and... More

Met friends who drove two & a half hours from wales very friendly staff & nice surroundings. Great presentation of food but have to say some dishes my friends had lacked flavour,my dishes were great, nice desserts. We had to ask for the wine to be served not expected at a 2 star michelin restaurant that were used to...and they were... More

Why can I say the most Amazing food, service and evening ever! This restaurant was suggested by our hotel and we were not let down, the staff were friendly and attentive, food was out of this world. I made the staff aware it was my partner birthday and every member of staff wished him a happy birthday throughout the night!

A Michelin star, but a recognition that people are coming from all walks, special occasions highly likely. Perhaps it's the location that helps... Other similar ranked places would make anyone not accustomed to such regular fine dining feel out of place. This is homely and welcoming whilst being special. The food is predictably fabulous but seems great for its own... More

Went with the family and had a very nice experience. Meal started with multiple mini-dishes (could not catch the names). We then had an amuse bouche of a leek and potato gazpacho. My first course was quail, which was well prepared and beautifully presented. Same for my main, which was a duck breast with grilled melon (the highlight of the... More
