My daughters 21st birthday so 7 of us dined here. it was really fabulous. The food was stunning in flavour and presentation. The service was immaculate and the ambiance made for a really enjoyable dining experience. We wined and dined over three and a half hours, the speed of service just right. We ate the scallops, terrine and duck starters... More

We have not visited this restaurant since we moved to Suffolk 16 years ago. We had made a number of visits prior to our departure from very nearly the first time it opened. Time has not dulled the experience that Le CS offers. The cooking remains absolutely first rate and the skills are displayed artfully on the plate and to... More

We went for the Three course set menu at £32. We think this was very reasonable for a 2 star Michelin restaurant. Service was very good. The homemade bread was divine. Nice bright dining room & not at all stuffy.

Stimulating in its flavours, reassuring in its style, this is my favourite restaurant in the whole wide world. The service is impeccable and the menu never falters, even when the flavours are experimental and challenging. The perfumes of the venison were joyous, and the bonkersness of the mango thai flavours in my dessert made me laugh out loud with delight.... More

The ambience is warm and relaxing and the front of house team welcoming. The food is amazing using very high quality ingredients. The local lamb was delicious and the crab and scallops perfect. Innovative and exciting dishes making some unlikely combinations work. Don't miss the desserts. I loved the Thai Green curry sorbet which was perfectly balanced. The petit fours... More

We visited the Cotswolds for an Autumn holiday and decided to treat ourselves to this restaurant. We are lucky to have dined in some wonderful places over the years and this is on a par with any we have visited. The place has a fairly formal style and is restrained in its approach, staff were friendly but had to be... More

My Husband and I planned this night for months and it was truly amazing. The service was brilliant and the food was incredible. We eat out a lot and we're fans of David's and we had a brilliant night, we travelled for over two hours to get to the restaurant and we want to return. Thank you David, Helen and... More

Dumbfounded as to why this ranking is #11 and highlights the fact that these rankings need to be taken with a large pinch of salt. We returned for the fantastic lunch menu having not been for almost 6months. Never have I been presented with a menu where I literally wanted one of every starter and main! After much deliberation I... More

Luckily we managed to book a table for lunch. As for the staff they were patient with every customer, served that afternoon and polite. The food was wonderful, from the starter to the main course and the proof was certainly in the pudding. A chocolate mole dish which was fantastic.
