This is a very traditional, old English style tea shop, and I went today for a small lunch, and the quiche was delicious, and so was the big meringue to follow. I saw a 'Tea for Two' come to the next table and it looked amazing...I must try that sometime soon!! Lots of antiques and retro stuff in there. It's... More

I have lived in Cheltenham all my life and have only just found this little gem! Polite staff, gorgeous cake and very reasonably priced! We didn't have the afternoon tea but saw some people who did and we were very jealous! Will definitely be returning to have this!

Visited here the other day for the second time. The layout and decor is really cosy and the crockery is pretty. The first time was great when having the 'normal' food but very disappointed at the gluten-free portion size this time around. There were 10 of us in total. I was given a tiny plate with just 4 triangles on... More

Your more than welcome to ask for more! We make a round of sandwiches per person as more tends to get wasted however when booking indicate you would prefer more savoury than sweet and we can adjust the balance for you. The gluten free bread is smaller in size,(although 3x the price!). As you say two slices of home made... More

I love the Well Walk. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Cheltenham for Afternoon Tea. The portions are always excessive and the choice is great. They always manage with my nut intolerance. Always worth a visit even just for a piece of cake but the Afternoon Tea is the piece de resistance.

Best Quiché in the entire World! Tea would be more favourable if it was not tea bags in the tea pots, though a minor detail. Enjoyed this tea room visit, and I'm CERTAIN I will return again. THE FLAVOURS IN THAT QUICHE ~ PURE VALUE FOR MONEY, MADE THE VISIT A MEMORABLE ONE.

Tea tables laid with lovely china and knife and fork in the classic style; this time-warp experience was a complete delight. The tea was presented in a generous pot, with milk in a jug and extra water available. The wonderful choice of cakes included a tempting array of home-made gluten-free options. If you didn't ask, you would never know they... More

The other reviews on Trip Advisor are not exaggerating this place is worth a visit most definitely! We went as a family of four to celebrate our daughters exam results and were not disappointed. Indulging in tea time treat special we had the works - sandwiches, tea, coffee, scones, cakes and petit fours. Tea and coffee come as 'bottomless pots'... More

Exactly as I put in the title... The setting is intimate and surrounded by antique goods (some of which you can buy). I had ordered the classic afternoon tea, a selection of nice sandwiches arrived and then a tier of delicious, home made cakes (including scones which were just lovely). The service was lovely too, would recommend it as a... More

We booked an afternoon tea for 10 for my daughter's hen do at The Well Walk. The food was glorious with fresh sandwiches and homemade cakes and we were determined to eat it all - but we were defeated! The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. We stopped midway and browsed around the 3 floors of antiques to make room... More
