This is the the best fish and chip shop for miles, living locally I would definitely recommend Marino's to anyone. The staff are always pleasant, friendly and polite. You can order take away for collection only

Marino's Fish Bar, Well we are so glad we found this place, the fish is the best we have EVER had and the chips are yummy, in fact the whole experience of eating at Marino's Fish Bar was 5 star, from the staff and service to the amazing food, this is a must visit if you like fish and chips... We didn't realise how difficult it is to get a table for dinner in Rye without having previously booked and so we came across Marino's and we weren't disappointed with our dinner that evening. We had a lovely portion of battered cod and chips. Great comfort food and exactly what I would have liked to have had while we were... More

I am not sure why, but it is difficult to find a great F&C joint thus far. I will admit upfront that in reading the reviews, I expected more, but much like our mushy peas, it was just OK. First the fish: was hot, tasty, and plentiful - a crispy batter but I thought it tasted a bit too much... More

Marinos was touted as the best chippy in town. We thought this was great as every time we walked past we could smell the wonderful inviting fish and chips. Also noted that it was well patronised. Decided to have a serve of chips one night with gravy and mushy peas. Ordered a medium serve of chips at 8 pm on... More

Recommended to us by our B & B hosts, we knew it was the right place by the take-away queue out of the door! But the seating area had space and we were not disappointed. The portions were very large leaving no room for a sweet. Importantly for some, they are able to offer gluten-free batter on the fish, so... More

Well worth a visit. Big portions and crispy batter and chips. My only disappointment is that they use cheap margerine on their bread. Revolting!

Very good quality fish and chips, incredibly busy little place and for good reason. There is limited seating to the rear of the takeaway, which is basic but OK when you don't want to walk and eat.

This is both a cafe where you can sit and eat or do takeaway . I am always impressed at how nice the cod and chips are and served in a good quality box which is easy to eat from or get home....best chips ever!😊

We love this fish bar, driving past several others to come and get our fish supper. Food is always great and the chips are perfect, crispy and not to oily.

Thank Hannah S
