We popped in here for a coffee and a slice of cake and found it an interesting spot. Good coffee and cake, a mix of different types some furniture, and helpful staff.

We stepped back in time as we entered this old establishment and enjoyed the array of different seating. We had the Welsh rarebit for lunch with salad and coleslaw and a large cappuccino and an earl grey tea. The staff were pleasant and the service was quick - all meals are prepared fresh. We enjoyed lunch though the mustard was... More

I went on a day trip to Rye, it was a little raining and the Apothecary offered a lovely cosy place to sit and have lunch with its vintage armchairs and generously portioned food.

We stayed in Rye for a week, and had breakfast at The Apothecary almost every day. The food and the coffee were delightful, as was the staff. The building was fascinating. Wish we had coffee houses like this in my area.

I love this cafe, its layout is really unusual. They make fabulous savoury crêpes too. It is a great place to stop for lunch.

Though most things in Rye are. We stopped in primarily because we had extremely hungry and whiny children with us and needed to rectify this ASAP. It's pretty standard upmarket sandwich bar fare. Costs are reasonable. That's pretty much all that can be said for it.

We stopped here for Tea and Coffee whilst on our visit to Rye. It was a horrible wet day and this was just the ticket. My Latte was nice, and so was my partners Earl Grey. Lots of people had cake too and seemed to enjoy it. We will soon be coming back.
