I ate here with the family & grandparents. The food is excellent. The children's fish fingers were tasty pieces of chunky cod, my Dover sole was delicious and the mash was creamy. The cheese board was varied and cheap for the size. Overall this child friendly restaurant is excellent and has some great staff.

This is a good restaurant for fresh produce. Service is efficient and food is served promptly and hot. It is a fairly simple menu but well executed. A rustic feel to the dining are

This place is great for seafood lovers. the building looks like part of an old warehouse but inside you find a very relaxed atmosphere friendly staff, and great food. A good family place to eat as well as for large groups and couples. Have been several times and each time has been great and always empty plates all round. Found... More

We arrived in Rye late on Friday. We'd not made reservations which is an error in Rye at the weekend. The front of house was extremely helpful in undertaking to find us a table if we went for aperitif and phoned us to return. The fish was wonderful and the nicest we had across the weekend. The place is busy... More

Visited this restaurant as a couple. Service was friendly and efficient. We had 3 oysters each and prosecco as h'ordoeuvres, which was a fun treat to start the meal. I'm no oyster expert but I found them delicious. Both my boyfriend and I had mussels as our starters. They were plump and delicious: my boyfriend had been hitherto unimpressed by... More

We've visited the restaurant during a family day out. The food was outstanding, I had the mussels and my husband the oyster as starter then we had the polenta cake and the monkfish. The food was beautifully cooked and well presented. The service has been really lovely too. Really attentive with us and with our18 months old daughter! We will... More

We went here as we spent 2 days in Rye, a lot of the restaurants were new to me as I hadn't been back in over 20 years. Excellent meal, very good & friendly service. One definitely needs to book in advance as it's really popular.

Treated my husband to a birthday dinner and we were definitely not disappointed. The lobster is a must. The Thai Prawn starter is a must! The menu is superb - great selection of dishes. The Prosecco Rose is perfect with the lobster. Excellent quality and value - will definitely return.

We had our anniversary dinner here on Saturday evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. We both love fish and there are plenty of options on he menu - the dishes we had were fresh and delicious. The fish platter starter was excellent. Wine selection is good and fair value and they serve great coffee too! Really good food and at sensible... More

I have lunched at Webb's 3 or 4 times a year for 5 or 6 years. Not just fresh high quality fish. I live by the sea so it is easy to buy good fish. Paul & his team cook in interesting ways that I am not skilful enough to do at home. I can buy a good lobster but... More
