The food is always fresh and wonderful at Undercliffe House, much better than you might expect in a tourist area. Staff is friendly and efficient and the restaurant is always spotlessly clean. They are always good with our children and remember us, even if we haven't been there in awhile. I had the mediterranean platter with fresh hoummus and tzatziki,... More

They sell fresh fish which comes with chips and peas. We didn't have to wait long for our orders. There was choice of small or big proportion. Small is just right for the lunch. It is very nice restaurant outside, but inside just like all others. They have an open kitchen, so you can peek at how they prepare your... More

Had a very lovely Sunday lunch. This restaurant was at the far end of the main fishing area. It was lovely and clean and the restauranteers were friendly, explained the menu options and went through the specials board. We had a seafood linguine (fabulous) smoked haddock fish cakes with poached egg (yummy) scampi and chips and a Sussex beef burger... More

This place came highly recommended by a friend and they didn't disappoint. I can say the food was exceptional having sampled the king prawns, plaice and the cheesecake whilst looking longingly at the cod and chips my children were devouring. We were served by a lovely Spanish man and all the kitchen staff seemed very nice too. The reason it... More

Just what you want at a fishing port, well cooked and presented fish dishes that are great value. Prices are between cheap and mid-range, and compare well locally.

Sometimes the best surprises come when you least expect them..a day out in Hastings with the family and we saw a small restaurant near where we parked at the far end of the Old Town.. something about the place made us book a table straight away...what a good decision. Great staff, great food reasonably priced will definitely be making an... More

Very friendly staff and handy that our dog could sit with us. Best scampi I've ever had. Good value especially the smaller plate fish n chips and the scampi. Veggie daughter loved the med platter and we are looking to go again before our holiday ends! Recommend highly.
