I have been to Hastings a number of times and you won't find this without some form of recommendation. For me I was passing a real ale shop just off the 'promenade' went in and asked the proprietor if he knew of a good pub in Hastings. He without hesitation pleasantly recommended this place and a couple of lady shoppers... More

We chose this because we had read that it was dog-friendly and we had our dog with us. We were not disappointed!

We had lunch here based on a review we had seen on Trip Advisor. We wanted somewhere that was dog friendly and were not disappointed. The food was very good too!

Good beer, nicely chilled white wine and good tasty food. I chose the plaice from the special menu but the portion was very small. Quite surprising considering the amount of plaice caught in Hastings and Rye. Overall good enough to return but will select another dish next time.

The FILO is a great little hostelry. Winter or Summer. Great atmosphere, Good Beer ( Their own brewery ) and stunning food. All at reasonable prices.

I arrived here with friends to enjoy a couple of ales and then we decided to stay for dinner - so pleased we did! We were brought through to the lovely dining room space where we enjoyed some fantastic food! I would highly recommend the chickpea and cheese meatballs I had and blueberry cheesecake - both were delicious! The waitress... More
