Definitely suggest booking a table; our service suffered somewhat as we were outside on a table in the middle of everything. It was a busy day and very popular We had fish cakes and vegetarian curry which were both really nice and very well presented. We were outside and were offered cosy blankets to help keep warm with the cold... More

Visited Riddle and Finns on Friday 26 August, arrived around 16.30. We had not made a reservation but the Oysters looked amazing. We requested a table for Oysters, and confirmed we did not have a reservation. We had a lovely table and the weather was perfect. On checking the menu, the selection was good, and decided to order Scallops and... More

We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant yesterday. The weather was gorgeous but there was the occasional drips of rain which did not spoil the occasion, even though we were sat outside and not under an umbrella. The menu is vast and the fish is incredibly fresh and plentiful. When you placed your drinks order you received a basket... More

We sat pretty close to where the promo photo was taken so had a fantastic view of the beach. The seafood was excellent, especially the grilled lobster, scallops, mussels, and Dover sole. I had always had steamed or boiled lobster before, but now am converted to grilled - you get that extra smokey finish and more intense taste of the... More

Riddle and Finn on the beach is well worth a visit. The food was exceptional and the Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc was excellent. Prices to suit all pockets The staff were friendly and helpful and great with the grandkids. It is worth booking a table during the week as it gets full very quickly especially on a sunny day.

Myself and two colleagues arrived at this beach venue in one of the seafront arches below the Kings Road. It was a hot night and the restaurant was not busy. The table was ready and we sat upstairs where some windows were open but it felt like Spain and not Brighton. We ordered fairly quickly and shared a bottle of... More

A slightly eccentric ambiance, but a really good restaurant for all that. If the weather is fine you can sit right on the beach and eat a meal that many a more elegant, "fine dining"restaurant would be pleasd to serve. Fish of all kinds dominate the menu and the classic fruits de mer rivals cross channel offerings. Good wine list,... More

I came here with my family, with the intention of trying lobster for the first time - and what a place to do it! The place has an authentic and classy feel, situated on the seafront, the restaurant is bright and refined. The thoughtful service and attention to detail makes this place feel very special; the butter served in a... More

We first stumbled across Riddle and Finns by accident in 2013. It has now become our treat restaurant in Brighton! The food is always cooked to perfection, the staff are delightful and the views stunning. We love it so much we have spent 2 of our wedding anniversaries there and we're very much looking forward to visiting it this coming... More
