Me & my partner have been together for 35 years. He has been a vegetarian for the past 30. We eat out very often but have never been to a real Vegetarian restaurant (other than the odd Indian one).. We read about Terre a Terre in the Brighton & Hove mini rough guide so thought we'd' pay a visit before... More

This is a vegetarian restaurant, but don't be fooled. I am not vegetarian, never have been, never will be. I do love fresh, high quality food, so now and again I will try vegetarian food because done well, it can be lovely. This restaurant's food is outstanding, and could rival any high end

I loved the food here. It was interesting but not too bizarre. It's a bit expensive but it's difficult to get a reservation last minute, so I can understand the podium price.

Thank you for your feedback. We are so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed the experience. Weekends can get booked up, especially if there are events happening in Brighton, but we are a large restaurant so we should be able to facilitate most bookings enquiries. We try to offer lots of great value options like the Terre a Verre... More

I have been here many times and it never fails to impress. The presentation is excellent the food packed with flavour and the service excellent. I am not a vegetarian but think that this is one of the very best restaurants. Highly recommended give it a try if you are a committed meat eater.

Firstly last time I was here was a few years ago and although expensive it was amazing service, amazing food amazing flavour. Two years on - early (5) Saturday dinner on a-la-carte it was severely disappointing the service was good and starters actually well presented but not as good as hoped for. The main was worse than I could manage... More

I've eaten in this place every now and then for the last ten years or so and the quality is still as excellent now as it was the first time. There are other good vegetarian restaurants in Brighton but this is the benchmark, Terre a Terre is the one they look to. It's the best. If you're a vegetarian or... More

I been here quite a few times over the past few years but my last was absolutely shocking. The staff were rude and the food was less than average....my advise = don't bother.

I've been to this restaurant several times of the last 15 years & it just gets worse and worse, I will probably never go again - which is what I said last time! The food is good but the portions are abysmal... I can see they're aiming for some kind of Nouvelle vegetarian but I've NEVER left a modern cuisine... More

I've been to Terre a Terre many times, and it never fails to deliver - friendly staff, great atmosphere and utterly incredible menu. Without question my favourite restaurant, and one for which I will happily travel the fifty miles from home. As a vegan, I might be biased - but it's worth mentioning that my more carnivorous friends will also... More

We visited Terre A Terre on Sunday evening as we were in Brighton for VegFest. We were a little late due to the awful weather but the staff were extremely pleasant when we called ahead. We had booked their 'tapas, chips and wine' deal, although were told as we were seated that we could order anything we wanted. As we... More

Description
Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.
