We decided the eat here having come across the restaurant by chance. The menu looked interesting so we went in. Neither of us are vegetarian, however we usually have at least two vegetarian meals every week. The interior is like a lot of other Brighton eateries in that it is fairly basic with a laid back atmosphere and although it... More

Very clever vegetarian dishes, beautifully prepared and presented. All of the staff are engaging (without being at all pushy) and knowledgeable. We kept an eye on the dishes coming out of the kitchen as they all looked superb. Great for a special treat as 2 people dining on starter cocktails, a 2 course meal and wine will be unlikely to... Exciting and tasty menu with good service and attentive staff. Veggie but as good as it gets even for carnivores!! Will be back soon.

Unlike any afternoon tea we've had before, but definitely try it. From the front it looks like a veggie restaurant, which it is, but this place is doing things with food that has to be tasted to be be believed. Waiter was smart, knowledgable and helpful...and very good at his job. The food was all delicious, no ham and mustard... More

Outstanding selection of vegetarian and vegan food. Delicious from start to finish. Great size portions, lots of opportunity for tasting a good mix of dishes. Brilliant, tasty food and the sublime service - it was faultless!

I have been here a couple of times, once with my BF and once with a friend of mine, neither of us are vegan or vegetarian, but we all Loved the Food and also the wine, the service was also quite good. That's my opinion, which is further validated by my BF which is an ex sous-chef and my friend... More

This is the record time I had been. I enjoyed it both times although I think this time slightly less.... The food however was still nice. Service was good. Amazing cocktails and I now have the cookbook! Good for meat eaters and veggies alike...: be prepared that the cookbooks have lots of elements so you will need some time to... More

We've been to Terre a Terre for many years and love it as much now as the first time we ate there. Had a fantastic early evening meal Saturday night. The place was buzzing and got buzzier as the evening went on. Our waiter was a fantastic part of the evening, lots of gags and help provided. We had the... More

This has to be my favourite restaurant in brighton. Being a vegetarian it's great to be able to have a whole menu to choose from, although the explanations leave you wondering what on earth you're eating when it comes out the wait staff give you a full run down of everything on your plate with really good knowledge. Their wine... More

Description
Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.
