Last visited over 10 years ago and last Saturday 26/11/16 was pleased to see it was still just as good. 4 meat eaters left satisfied and happy!

As this was our first visit we opted for the suggested menu at £35 per head. Bread and nachos were provided as appetisers. The starter choice was soupe or fries. The soupe was decent, the fries were oily and tasteless. The main choice was rösti or duck steam parcels and dessert was churros or rice ball (again fried). Little flavour,... More

I'm a visitor from Australia, and had the good fortune to be visiting Brighton with a friend who has eaten at this restaurant many times. Vegetarian? I thought - hmmmm and reserved judgment, being the carnivore that I am. (We Aussies love our meat). I'm converted! The choice of food was incredibly varied and wonderfully described on the menus. I... More

We visited Terre a Terre last night for a birthday celebration meal and we were not disappointed. We are spoilt in Brighton when it comes to vegan/veggie restaurants but Terre a Terre is a cut above the rest. The cocktail wine and beer menu is extensive and the beers/cocktails we picked were delicious. The food was incredible as always, tofu... More

I went here as a meal to celebrate my leaving the country. I went with friends and had a table booked as it can get quite busy. We had an amazing waiter who recommended food and made sure that we didn't over order.

We have been visiting Terre Terre for more than 15 years now and every return visit is always a pleasure. Food was simply fantastic, drinks gorgeous and staff just lovable! Can't wait to return! Well done Terre Terre- knock spots off the competition.

Our local host for the weekend recommended we eat here, and blimey are we pleased they did!! I'm not a veggie by trade but their great menu had me wanting to try every dish. The staff were attentive, the atmosphere was bustling and lively, and the halloumi battered dish was zingy. Reasonably priced too. Tell them I sent you

We came here for a meal and it was a great experience. The menu was really different and due to the number of choices, it took quite a while to decide! The food I had was really good, well cooked & presented. Each plate was a good mix of flavours and textures, so was very pleasing. The wine we had... More

Nice relaxed with wonderful vegetarian food that can also be gluten free which is perfect for me and my sister. We had the sharing platter that was beautifully presented along with a side dish of halloumi. The very pleasent waitress talked us through everything on the plate and we found that useful. My only criticism of the place is the... More

Description
Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.
