We visited Indian Summer on Friday night for a family birthday celebration. It was my first visit for many years and it was as good - if not better - then I remembered. The service was excellent. The food is fantastic and the soup and sobert in between courses is a lovely extra. There were 6 of us and we... More

Another trip to our favourite UK destination wouldn't be complete without a visit to Indian Summer - a supreme Indian fine dining experience. Truly amazing food, punctuated by complimentary soups and sorbets and complemented by a fine wine list. The restaurant has really settled in to its new home and has a warm, sumptuous feel. Staff as happy and attentive... More

We were glad we had booked in advance as the restaurant was full. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived and a menu that was really hard to choose from. We had the salmon and scallops as our starters which had amazing flavours. We had a Goan prawn Masaledar and a Tandoori black bream which we both would highly... More

Refreshing take on Indian food, you will not find your standard fare here, but you will fin new favourites. A set price 2 or 3 course meal that is selected from the proprietor's and chef's families. They care about the food it's presentation and the service you receive.

Indian Summer is stylish, authentic and a great place to eat sublime food. The Goan prawns and coconut rice were a dream and the deconstructed cheesecake absolutely wonderful. The staff were attentive, the manager was a wonderful host and we could not fault the food. So pleased we chose to eat here, so far from the normal Indian you may... More

This restaurant for me was amazing, I've been to many Indian in the town being a resident from birth you run out of places to go after a while but this place actually made all the others taste like they came out of a jar ..... The flavours here are awesome !! The staff are great stuff and the waiters... More

Curry with a difference...not your bog standard balti and madras here...instead original dishes packed with a variety of flavours that combine beautifully...my wife and I chose the two course menu at £26.95 each, where you have a variety of starters and mains to choose from (or dessert if you prefer)...a nice surprise/touch was having a small soup before the starter... A nice menu of Indian food, though not your typical Indian. Dishes were fresh and zingy with less creaminess than the standard Indian restaurant. The staff were great throughout. An enjoyable evening.
