The initial attraction was the window seat overlooking the seafront, and customers drinking wine while eating delicious looking seafood. Our table was further into the restaurant, so missing a view, but a lively atmosphere and cozy feel. The food was fantastic, I enjoyed a large...varied shellfish meal with salad. It arrived within a good time of ordering and was piping hot and well presented. The food exceeded expectations and I’ll be happy to take a trip to Brighton just for the restaurant.More

What a shame I have previously visited this restuarant and was very much looking forward to returning. I loved the quirkiness however this time I was escorted around the back to what was a hotel area, a completely different atmosphere. It took some time for...us to recieve menus, a party of 8 next to us moving from table to table which made me feel uncomfortable, no hand sanitiser in sight. The food was very poor mine was meant to be grilled but tasted fried, it was not a pleasant environment or food. It was very quick service once we did receive menus in and quickly with all customers. I felt so disappointed in this restaurant I really wish they would have informed me I would be sitting in a completely different room, I am aware this could be said that having the overflow space was for social distancing but absolutely no social distancing was in place it was a real shame and disappointment.More

Came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint. Covid sage, fast and friendly service: super efficient despite being busy - recommend booking. Fantastic menu with so much choice and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. £130 including service for 4 x starters, 4 mains, 2 desserts, 2...soft drinks and a bottle of wine. Lovely!More

I love this place, we have been coming here for 5 years. The staff are excellent, friendly and the service is exceptional. The food is consistently delicious and I would recommend anything as we’ve eaten our way through the menu. My only regret is that...it’s taken me this long to write a review.More

My wife and had dome great food last night, the staff were very friendly and Covid rules were being adhered to. We had scollops to start and they were superb. My wife had cod which was fresh and cooked in a very light batter served...with real chips. I had crab salad which was fresh and a good size, probably the best I have had in this country. The price at £55 was good as it included drinks and service. I can highly recommend this restaurantMore

On a Saturday afternoon we decided to treat ourselves to a nice lunch at the Regency. We booked in advance and were very much looking forward to a nice treat! We could not imagine how disappointing the experience was going to be! I ordered the...Regency special seafood spaghetti, which were obviously pre-cooked and so so over cooked! The jarred Sauce tasted sour and the ‘seafood’ tasted of nothing. I can’t imagine how such a simple dish could taste so horrible. My friends sea bass was full of bones and soggy chips on the side were uneatable. I cannot think of one thing that was actually decent in there. In the end we were presented with a £65 bill for the food we barely touched. I would strongly recommend to avoid this place. Horrible horrible food and an awful experience!More
