The first thing you notice when stepping into this venue is the absence of noise pollution. You can actually enjoy a good conversation without the intrusion of mindlessly banal 'feel-good' type pop music. The ambience is period regency, replete with chandeliers. Waiters actually look like...More

Food tasteless and cold served on cold plates only positive thing I can say is there was plenty of it but what's the good of that if you can't eat it.

Lovely food, great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Ideal for families (child friendly), meeting friends and also suitable for couples.

This is not a fish and chip restaurant, this is a Fish restaurant with chips, and other offerings. We had Skate, Plaice and Salmon, all grilled without any unnecessary sauces, oil or butter, sounds boring, but didn't taste it! Deserts, Banana splits all round !...More

This restaurant has a terrific friendly welcoming atmosphere. We were welcomed warmly and found overall the service to be terrific. The food was fabulous and the fresh fish as you would expect by the seaside was extremely tasty and cooked and prepared well. Feeling hungry...More

This place is crowded for a reason; it's very good! It is family friendly but fine for couples as well. The tables come in many different combinations in size and are close together but there is such a buzz here that it doesn't matter. The...More

Best fish and chips in town. Have come with my partner, friends and family when they visit and never disappoints. Will be back soon! Staff can however be a bit grumpy but it's pretty clear they are overworked and underpaid.

Had deep fried fish medleys. Think of it as going out for posh fish and chips rather than a posh restaurant and it won’t disappoint. Good service. Not too expensive.

I believe it is Emilio and Roberto. By the way, this restaurant is expected to expand shortly with the acquisition of the neighbouring Melrose restaurant.

Hi - not sure whether Stacey is still at the Regency, I would think she is as they tend to keep their staff. I would recommend that you phone them to make a booking, and ask whether she will be there - 01273 325014
