Nice food. Not exceptional but nice. Enjoyed it. I would go again. The starter we had was the mixed starter. Seaweed a bit dry and same for the chicken skewers. Apart from that it was all good.

Needed somewhere to eat before a gig and met chum from Wales staying in B and B round the corner. Saw this place and tables free so in we went. Excellent service, nice restaurant (bigger than it looks!), excellent food around reasonable to medium priced ( as usual with Thai rice and noodles extra not included with dish). We shared... More

Over priced and very very ordinary! Would not recommend. I can cook Thai better and I don't cook! Had better Thai takeaway in Sydney! Don't waste your money.

This restaurant sounds like it should be true authentic Thai cuisine but don't be fooled. The food was ok but more like Thai food that you get in a Chinese restaurant. From what I could make out the chef was a young English lad in his twenties probably working from a generic Thai cookery book. Perhaps I am being a... More

I've been to this restaurant twice, being the last time, last Wednesday. It's ok. The waitresses could look a little less agitated. The restaurant wasn't too busy, and in our section there were only two tables with customers, including ours, so I found no need for them to look like they were rushing. They didn't show much effort to explain... More

Had a lovely meal here over the weekend! We had salt and pepper squid which was cooked perfectly, followed by Beef Green Curry, Duck ga-prao, Prawn Pad Thai, Steamed Rice (there were 2 of us but we like a selection!) The food was delicious and well cooked. Having been to Thailand a number of times would say it was authentic... More

We frequented the Sawadee Restaurant for some time in the past. Food and Drinks were always Superb Good portions,Nicely Presented and reasonably priced. During our last two visits we noticed: Prices have now moved up. Portions smaller and presentation not nearly as nice. The owner Izzard seems to no longer be running the Restaurant. Still a nice Restaurant but I... More

I can recommend this restaurant, I have been to many Thai restaurants and this was definitely well above average with the taste of the food. We had tempura batter veg and prawns to start which was light crisp batter and a pahd pa-naeng and fruity duck curry both of which were flavoursome with coconut and red curry spice, delicious!

Lovely little restaurant, with good service and reasonable prices. The yellow curry is to die for!! My only niggle was that our Prawn Crackers were slightly on the stale side. Aside from that we had a lovely meal and it was great to see how popular it is.

Very pleasant restaurant with friendly staff, the food is good without being great, but definitely better than some Thai joints
