Again the dim sum is consistently good and well made. Has to be one of the best on the coast. Very popular and can get quite busy. If you like dim sum then you'll like this place.

Visited the China garden as we were on holiday in Brighton from the north east of England. We have visited this restaurant before albeit 6 years ago. We chose from the banquet and enjoyed all our courses. The staff let us change the soup from the menu from spicy to the chicken and sweet corn. The portions of soup is... More

First but not the last. Family very fond of Chinese food. We looked at many restaurants in the area this one was pretty full and looked good so we took a chance. Good service good portions and the food was amazing

Went there on Thursday 11th August 2016. Good quality food from an excellent menu range. Service was attentive but not pushy. Surroundings were clean and well decorated. Very good evening out, and we would certainly go there again.

This was my first Chinese dining experience is the UK and I was impressed. The wonton was decent. The broth was bad but the actual dumpling was good. The fried oysters were just ok but I've never had fried oysters so I can't compare. The Kung Po chicken was legit. Definitely recommend that.

We decided to try here last night it was lovely! We went around 6.30pm so was quieter, the only thing I'f I'm being picky it was all served quite quickly so didn't give much time between starters and main. Would recommend

The food varies from mediocre to slightly edible. But be prepared for an argument at your table while you are eating, if you dare to complain about the food. No respect paid to regulars. And be prepared to have abusive comments and 'don't ever come back' shouted at you upon your exit if you refuse to pay the service. Even... More

Visited the China Garden for evening dinner after a visit to the i360. The restaurant is only across the road so very convenient. We had not been there for perhaps 10 years but used to patronize it regularly. I swear the menu had not changed since then. The food is English Chinese fare. Full of sugar and monosodium glutamate. Very... More

This is the second time we have visited the China Garden and I must admit it is without doubt the best Chinese in Brighton. Food comes quickly and is of excellent quality, full of flavour, fresh tasting and beautifully presented. Service is polite and friendly and the place is always bustling - a clear sign of how good it is.... More

We decided to go to a Chinese Restaurant when we were in Brighton for 3 Nights, and my Mum knew which one she always wanted to try for a long time. It was The China Gardens, it had a nice name to it. Pros: 1. Very humble staff 2. Nicely made meals 3. Had a Modern-Vide to it Cons: None... More
