We visited Al Duomo for a family meal on a Saturday night and the atmosphere was great. The staff were extremely friendly and allergies are well-catered for. The food was good, some dishes a little dry and tough, but all in all it was good value. We were put off when two dogs were let in to the restaurant, but... More

A group of 14 of us (should have been 15) ate here last night for my friend's 40th Birthday. Upon arrival we were not greeted by any of the staff or taken to our table, we were just told we were upstairs & pointed in the right direction. The area we were seated in was lovely & spacious & we... More

Easily one of the best Italian restaurants in the city. Family-owned, and it shows. The staff really care about the place, the food has always been excellent, and the service is second to none. You know a restaurant is good when the natives eat there, and there's almost always been chatter in Italian going on while I've been there. On... More

We called in here for a bit to eat before all attending a gig at the nearby Dome. Food was great as we're the attentive staff but we're only giving it 4/5 as we had to ask for the Specials menu and a Service Charge is automatically added to the bill. Apart from those two items, everything was spot on.... More

First time here for a couple of years. Nice location to sit and watch the world go by and have a cold beer and lunch. Sat outside and staff were friendly and efficient. There Groulsh Blonde beer is Ok. Order a burger with cheese and bacon. French fries fine but the burger was overcooked and dry and the bacon was... More

Celebrated my husband's 60th Birthday party in this wonderful restaurant. Had a private room for 31 people and the food was amazing. Service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and would definitely recommend for all occasions! Location is also perfect!

Description
Near the famous pavillion in Brighton, Al Duomo is well, not quite as famous as the Pavillion itself, but it has attracted two million visitors over the past twenty-one years. A classic, family-run Neapolitan pizzeria spread over three floors, Al Duomo has an Italian menu to tempt even non-pizza lovers, if there are any. The pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven, one of Britain's first. The many other favourite dishes include Lasagne Casalinga and salmone al dragoncello, cooked in butter, white wine and tarragon with tomato and cream. It's a great place for parties and groups, but absolutely everyone enjoys the delicious food, charming ambience and warm Italian welcome. Patio seating when the weather is balmy.
