We have been going to the Gingerman for years and will continue to go. the food is fantastic, great selection of wine, staff pleasant and knowledgeable, what more can you want?

Recommended by locals and Tripadvisor alike, this small chain puts out a really nice food, has good atmosphere, recommend that you make reservation or go really early or late. Really enjoyed this one.

Went with high hopes but service was slow, food was bland and most shockingly my fish main course wasn't cooked properly - I sent it back. The replacement was also unpleasant. They didn't deduct my meal from the bill. Certainly won't go back.

There is lots of street parking in Princess Crescent (long stay) or The King Alfred (short stay) car park.
