We ordered 4 breakfast to which the server said there will be a 10 minutes wait. We waited nearly one hour for our meal to come. We kept asking the server for the food to which he replied it will arrive shortly for 3 times and the place was not even busy. From where we were sitting we could see... More

This place was horrible. The staff didn't know what they were doing. The food was greasy and made us all feel unwell. Would not recommend at all.

Having been put off eating at the Madeira café by what I witnessed in the kitchen I hurriedly made my way to this lovely café along the famous Madeira drive. The food was freshly cooked by a very friendly, happy chefess and tasted superb. I had a breakfast Bap which contained Egg, Sausage and Bacon. Absolutely beautiful. I would recommend... More

We ate here during the Ace Cafe Reunion Run, and albeit very busy at the time as can be expected during a large event such as the Brighton Burn Up, it was tasty food, served hot and efficiently. Bright and friendly staff even during the peak time. Would re-visit.

My partner had sausage in batter and chip the sausage was indeed in batter that was solid and the sausage was the lowest quality going, which for the price is a bit of a joke the chips how hard is it to get chips right? Rude staff look sad to have to serve people, also ordered rum and raisin icecream... More

2 Sausages in Batter, no Steak and Kidney pies so a Steak Pie and Chips - £11.20p. After feeling robbed by the price the pie was flattened and totally cremated! Tasted like a burnt wafer! Sausages in batter were over battered and equally tasteless. How could they look you in the eye and serve you that crap. Not even a... More

Disgusting, dirty place. Worse chips I've ever eaten. Avoid! Rude waitress, too busy on her phone. Would never go back and wouldn't recommend.

Obviously they were very busy, but the fish was crisp and fresh! Made better by the lovely weather and hoards of people following the event, the food was well priced and very tasty! A small family run set up that was the cheapest along that parade of shops; to be found on Madeira Drive!

My family and I stayed in Queens Park for a fortnight last month, and one of the best things about Brighton is the range of excellent food and the even better service in restaurants. There are wonderful places to eat in Kemp Town and the Marina, where we'd usually go, but we gave 'Waves Cafe' a go for a change.... More
