Blues and Jazz festival was just swell! Was there on the Saturday evening with a friend down from London. Always a great vibe in this little place :) I love it - shout out to Jim the barman who served us most of the night and always had a big smile on his face!

Always a good atmosphere! Nice bit of pub grub up for grabs! Good for watching the rugby/Footie. Often have live music. Best Guinness in Brighton by a country mile!

As a family of five we often drink in the The Fiddlers Elbow......we love the atmosphere and the friendly staff but on a recent visit we were so disappointed to find that they have stopped serving Sunday roast.......NO! It was the best roast in Brighton, now where will we go? Would definitely recommend this pub though, it's one of Brighton... More

Popped over for the weekend street party for the St Patrick's Day. Considering the large amount of people attending the celebrations the staff were very friendly and served us very quickly, The entertainment was good fun too. Irish dancers and a jazz band. Guinness was very tasty too.

Ended up here after an evening out as we heard the music. The staff were great fun and the music was good too. We had a good boogie and enjoyed it very much. Plenty of space to move around and a nice bar.

This place has the be the worst ever establishment I have been to (and I've been to hundreds over the years). Please read my details in full if you're thinking at all of visiting, it's information people really should be aware of. When we first went in we asked if the quiz was on, told yes, so we decided to... More

Hi Ger and Jessica, My sincerest apologies for the experience you had at the Fiddler's Elbow. It really sounds more like a house of horrors than a pub! This is by no means our usual standard. I am trying to get to the bottom of how we upset you so much for you to write 3 horrific reviews (1 on... More

Dark, spit and sawdust pub for locals. We were grudgingly served drinks after the regulars had their fill. In hindsight that should have been the trigger to leave, but my wife was hungry so we decided to eat. The menu was small with usual basic pub grub. The meals arrived quickly, but the bangers and mash were overly salted making... More

Irish bar in a side street just off The Lanes. Quite basic, small, olde, sports on tv and very welcoming. Good choice of ales though a little pricey but the Guinness is very good.

This is a friendly 'Irish' bar with real ale options to Guinness...! It was very busy on this evening but the staff were quick and efficient - well done!!
