As a caterer with 30 years at the coal face I know what amazing service means to us customers. This evening Dan delivered just that for his customers and bosses who I request politely recognise his passion and energy. Dan oversaw the whole pub on his own on what was expected a quiet post bank holiday evening actually turned out... More

If you are going to visit just for a drink with friends and family this is a gastro pub and drinks are expensive. It was relaxing with background music when we visited but we were virtually the only ones in there and we paid well over the odds for our drinks. Buying half pints works out a lot more expensive... Ate for the first time since refurb, great food, tasty and good size portion. Vibrant and relaxing local pub. Love it.

It's very different from the 'old Prestonville', which I was very fond of. BUT the staff are fantastic. The food is delicious. It's a really great pub for family, friends or just the two of you. I'm a local and couldn't ask for more. Well worth a visit. Thank you Prestonville

Had a great lunch with my partner, it's was great that we could take our dog along too! Harvey the pub dog was such a cute old dog too, very tolerant of the other dogs and our puppy! The staff are great, really attentive and approachable. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting often!!!

Oh what a shame, this used to be a cozy backstreet pub with a convivial atmosphere. Now soulless and sterile and it gets worse Fullers should be ashamed to call it one of their pubs, the worst beer I have ever had the misfortune to drink in a Fullers pub. Seems like their only interest is the food. Haven't eaten... More

Recently nicely refurbished, food is really good but several times has been randomly closed. It seems that the previously loyal locals are largely voting with their feet. Support your local pub and "use it or lose it": bit hard when you walk up there and it's shut.

I like the refurbished Prestonville because it provides good dining for a wider clientele and an attractive but more traditional pub setting for the local community. However a few times recently it has closed early, before normal pub closing times, without warning. I've been quite put out by this, and I know others have too. Apart from losing business to... I've eaten there twice and the food was good and the interior has been recently upgraded, but as a local back-street pub the new management style is terrible. In the last few months I've turned-up several times and it's been closed at random times. Tonight (a Tuesday) it closed at 9:45 apparently. I arrived at 10:30 for a pint with... More

Been meaning to try this fabulous pub since it had reopened with a totally gluten free kitchen, and yesterday was our wedding anniversary and we finally got to go , boy it was impressive, bread dipping oil & Olives, ham hock chips & poached eggs , lamb shank tagine , quinoa , and yoghurt , we shared a side of...
