Used to be a really nice pub, friendly vibe, lots going on. But something terrible seems to have happened. Everything was wrong with tonight's visit. Not a single ale or bitter available. Great if you like Kronenbourg (luckily I don't mind it) but kind of...More

Always good atmosphere and welcoming staff. Highly recommend good food even better prices all fresh and simply delicious. If you're coupled up lots of sport shows however still great to be in if you're not(personal experience as I'm not much into footy or rugby). Been...More

Went to the eddy to watch the rugby and got drawn in by the smell of food. Place was very well presented and the staff were lovely and quick to please you. Plenty of tv screens and a menu of what was on. Food was...More

Great pub, great atmosphere. Always a treat when I come down to Brighton. Used to come in here when I did my laundry and always looked forward to it. Will visit again.

Watched England narrowly defeat the better team here this afternoon. Packed out but remained functional. Good attentive bar staff, well behaved customers, youngest in the bar was a baby, oldest probably me. About five minutes from Brighton station. Pub has many screens but retains some...More

All in all a lovely pub with a good atmosphere, had it not been for the almost inedible fried chicken! More salt than the sea, Reminded me of little chef or kfc with none of the good bits.

Thank you for your review & feedback. We are very sorry to hear that the fried chicken was not well prepared & we will take it to the kitchen to ensure better results next time. We still hope to see you back!

Just been in for a last minute Sunday lunch. Very impressed with the food. The pub has "character" and isn't a "high class establishment". But if you want good pub food and friendly service this definitely works. My Fiancee had roast beef and said it...More

Locally know as "The Eddy", this pub really is a true home from home. Serving great home-made food and a wide selection of drinks. Numerous screens, showing a wide variety of sport. The Edinburgh is well worth searching off the beaten track for. Our kitchen is run by Two Wolves, who offer vegan, meat and fish options as well as gluten free. The menu is split into "good" and "evil", designed to offer choices for both healthy living and indulgence. All food is cooked and prepared in house using locally sourced produce where possible.
