Visited around 3pm on a Saturday for a late lunch. Cafe was very busy so we were advised to find a table before ordering. Tables are quite tightly packed in upstairs. We ordered a smoked salmon salad & a falafel salad - these were fresh & tasty. Service was average & they looked like they were struggling to keep up... More

Having found our intended choice closed being a good Friday we came across this place and went in for breakfast. The place was busy and having ordered a drink waited for the cooked breakfast. We probably had a fifteen minute wait but well worth it. Freshly prepared produce superbly cooked and well presented. Beautiful poached eggs great sausage and bacon,... More

I wish we had one of there closer to home! Deliciously rich & tasty coffee, they certainly know how to do this right. We didn't stop for anything to eat, but the food all looked very tantalizing, so I look forward to trying this in the future.

Came here for the Easter weekend. Food okay expensive for what it is. London prices. Service disappointing. However staff were friendly to their regulars.

Honestly, it tasted fine, a bit watered down but drinkable. However, for that price it was just the saddest drink I've ever been served, and for £8 I was expecting more than a celery stick and 2 straws. Food was okay, but again-for the price-we were left unsatisfied.

We called in for a late lunch and really enjoyed their chorizo & pork sausage roll and a triple decker blt (the latter is big enough for two to share). Good points: + Nice food & fairly generous portions + Plenty of seating to the rear and upstairs Not so good points: - The interior is rather too minimal &... More

I ordered an English breakfast, they don't even serve bake beans. When the Food arrived, the knives and fork was no where to be seen, the waiter simply put the food on out table and left. Another costumer had to tell us where they were, they were kept in the most awkward place, it was behind someone's table which I... More

When we got to Brighten there was a Hailstorm and to get out of the wet we went in to the first place, we were not hungry not long after breakfast and I had a hot chocolate and my friends had a coffee and a cake. One Lady on the next table had two lovely slices of Rye Bread very... More

Great coffee. Sadly, we were too full for any food as it looked amazing. Next time, we will go hungry and eat one of the fabulous breakfasts that kept passing by our heads. Prices didn't seem that high and they had the most enormous croissants I have ever seen.
