We went to the Dig in the Ribs as it used ti be one of our favorite restaurants. It has been a while since we have been there and we walked away very dissapointed. The food was average and portion size of the starters was poor. The service was slow and not very professional and simple drinks orders were not... More

If I could give this less I would. The ordering process was slow and difficult. The garlic BREAD was tortilla smeared with garlic butter. Appreciate it is a texmex but bread is bread and tortillas are tortillas and bread was what the menu stated. The burger was a burger, nothing special. The chips were awful..cheap frozen ones. There was only one... More

We visited on a Saturday evening, and the place was empty apart from us, one other couple, us and the staff (perhaps the first warning sign). Despite this, it seemed to take a long time for each of our drinks and cocktails to be made for us. The food was pretty uninspiring. The prawn starter I had was served with... More

Came in yesterday with a friend to try out the ribs and was welcomed by a really friendly bartender and promptly seated.Food came in reasonably fast and was simply amazing,my ribs were practically falling off the bone and the T-bone my friend ordered looked and tasted great.Would recommend to anyone feeling like some authentic food.

The only person in the place was pleasant and friendly; however the food soon made up for it! To start with my cocktail was distinctly lacklustre and seemed cheap and watery. The Tex-mex-mix was lukewarm and tasted like it had been defrosted for us. The creole jambalaya was cold and dry. There are plenty of awesome places on Preston st... More

Very disappointing. Restaurant was cold. Food took ages. The starters looked unappealing. Food from the 80s. Ribs were OK, chips looked like oven chips.

We walked up this street for ages trying to find something to eat but we couldn't make our minds up! Then we saw dig in the ribs! It looked a little run down but seemed to give it a back street charm! However the female toilets smelt of sick, this should have been a warning to us! However there was... More
