Delicious from beginning to end. Fennel bread, fresh from the oven. Burger mains delicious, as was the cod and the veggie celeriac with superb grilled mushrooms. Surprise of the meal was the rice pudding. I know, rice pudding right? Wrong. Festive, citrus-y, served with marmalade...More

I suppose no great surprise, with a name like the coal shed that everything is dark and black. The steaks and service were excellent but the highlight was the Stole cake desert.

We enjoyed a very tasty lunch at The Coal Shed. My wife enjoyed her pork croquettes, followed by brill with mash. I liked my smoked salmon and the black angus burger. Service was pleasant and correct.
