Very fast with taking orders to brining food out to you. Yummy and tasty food! Loved it. My partner and I had the breast if chicken in white wine sauce....OMG....it was divine! My daughter ate a Plain pizza but had melon for a starter and I had garlic mushrooms and Trevor had soup of the day.

I have spotted this restaurant several times but had never eaten there. Decided to go there for a pre theatre meal. The service was excellent, efficient but not rushed. There was a pre theatre menu, which looked very reasonably priced and with a good selection. We decided to order from the main menu, the food was excellent, piping hot and... More

Visited here with two friends after a show about 5.30 on a Saturday evening. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We shared a bruschetta and two bowls of olives. The starters we saw other people getting looked like huge portions. I had pasta with salmon which was so tasty. I wish I could have eaten it all. Will be back... More

The Quality and Quantity, given the "budget price" and the central position in Brighton (We had the special "Theatre Menu"), is truly outstanding. This is our third visit this month so I feel confident in my judgement. Even the "house wine" was surprisingly "very acceptable" given the price and my experience of "Italian" house wines in general. The competition is... More

I have eaten here on numerous occasions and it is always lovely. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, there is an authentic atmosphere in the restaurant which I personally love. The food is extremely reasonably priced, and the house wines are delicious as are a few of the other ones. Definitely recommend!!

A proper Italian restaurant!! Heaps of atmosphere, great location, the food here is superb. This place is always busy (always a good sign) but the service is quick and efficient. Visited again this week; Brighton was packed due to the glorious weather, but we had no trouble getting a table - just one of the many reasons why I keep... More

We had lunch at this restaurant on a summer Sunday looking for a good pasta. The place is nice and clean, not uncomfortably busy, with nice tables on a pedestrian street. We ordered a aglio, olio e peperoncino (garlic, oil and chilly) spaghetti and carbonara, drinking an Italian white wine. Both of the pastas were not "al dente". The spaghetti... More

Zafferelli is an Italian Restaurant centrally located in Brighton. The staff are pleasant and efficient. The menu is extensive and contains very reasonably priced 'Express' and 'Pre Theatre' items. The food is typically Italian and good. This Restaurant is well worth a visit.

Miserable staff, one whom struggled with basic English and Italian, overpriced food, was ok but not authentic Italian - thick tough pizza, cheap prosciutto etc

Have eaten in plenty of Brighton's Italian restaurants before, but this was our first time here. The manager (possibly the owner) was very helpful and friendly, letting us try the wine to see which we preferred and then advising on food choices too. It was sort of between lunch and dinner so very quiet, which perhaps meant we got more... More
