Fabulous bagels, the best I have ever tasted. Good service, great breakfast. Would love it if they opened a shop in Sheffield. Bought bagels to take home and freeze, as always.

I came here as a quick stop before my chocolate fix at Choccywockydoodah, and this place definitely filled the gap! I had a veggie sausage bagel and my boyfriend had a veggie feast. Both bagels were very tasty. The only reason I didn't give 5 * is because I really like cream cheese bagels and I didn't see it on... More

Popped in for breakfast, had a smoked salmon bagel which was lovely and a hot chocolate. Not much more to say really - quite quaint, staff were welcoming. Great prices.

Excellent place to eat breakfast and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit if you're passing. The coffee is good too.

Wanted a coffee that wasn't a chain brand so found this little place. The gent on the counter was very welcoming and helpful another server who bought the coffee up was lovely too. Very nice decor and large blackboards encouraging a bit of creativity with your drink. The upstairs was light and had colouring pencils and chalk for the boards,... More

Popped in for my 1st experience of Bagelman on way to train station and whilst inside is small, it was fairly early on a Sunday morning so wasn't an issue. Went for an onion topped bagel with bacon, mushrooms and a hash brown in it and it was beautiful! This was my 1st time but it certainly won't be the... More

We went here with a friend that regularly comes to Brighton. Although there isn't a lot of room to eat in, it was a great experience. You can have any type of bagel with pretty much any filling. The owner was singing along to the radio, clapping and doing a little dance as he prepared our bagels. Would definitely recommend... More

Arrived in the pouring rain whilst xmas shopping. There were no gluten free bagels so the staff went off and bought some for our daughter. They couldn't have been more accommodating and the bagels we ordered both gf and non gf were great. Also a real pot of tea. Would definitely recommend

Bagelman started in 1996 when Julian, our founder, started a one-man bagel delivery service to help fund his way through a degree at Brighton University. In response to popular demand, the first Bagelman store opened in 1999 at 7 Bond Street and since then we have gone from strength to strength; we now have a bakery serving three stores with a fourth opening soon.

Inspired by the lively Jewish delicatessens of New York and London’s East End, we combine the sensory richness and liveliness of the full delicatessen experience with the irresistible lure of a real bagel bakery.
