Delicious smoked fish sandwiches. Honestly one of the best kippers I've ever eaten. Jack and Linda are delightful. Couldn't ask for better seaside food. Would be here everyday if I lived in Brighton!

Visited here just after Christmas a lovely cup of tea the best you will get down on the beach and only £1, the mackerel roll was very nice and fresh. The only problem was the fish soup was not very nice my wife loves fish soup and she couldn't even eat it.

I've been dying to visit this since I saw it on TV. The mackerel roll was beautiful. It was so fresh it tasted of the sea. Simple cooking at it's best. If you're visiting Brighton you MUST visit this place.

We saw this place on a Nigel Slater cookery show. It deserves its national tv accolades! Beautiful and simple, a real treat of a find! The food is as fresh as it gets and the mackerel roll was a little taste of the ocean. Formidable!

Stopped here for a quick bite, had a crab sandwich freshly made with a generous amount of fresh crab, fish soup also very good. Served by Linda who was very friendly. Well worth a visit.

I never go to Brighton without visiting Jack & Linda's for a fresh grilled kipper roll, whether I have already had some lunch or not. Grilled to order on a beautiful crispy bun, absolute bargain and delicious. I went ever since I saw them on Jamie Oliver some years ago on the TV, and they are the friendliest of folk,... More

As we are visiting a seaside city with traditions in fishing, it was a "must" to taste local fishfood. Warm, smoked fish in a warm bun tasted lovely on beautiful sunny beach! The owner couple were extremely nice and helpful.

We found this small smokehouse when walking along the beach. What a find. Fantastic hot smoked kipper sandwiches. The crab and mackerel are equally as good. Jack and Linda are a lovely couple who work extremely hard, smoking the fish in the smokehouse outside on the beach. We went back several times and were not disappointed.
