A lovely restaurant/bar in a side street. Even though it was not very busy it still had a lovely ambience about it, so much so, that I forgot I was in a side street with nothing much else to look at. The bartender was friendly and looked after us well. We ordered the ‘posh’ sausage and mash. It was divine.

Sara and Ed, helped turn my very loosely planned wedding party into a fantastic event. The food the chef prepared was out if this world, catering for the Vegans, GF, Vegetarians and ethnic restrictive friends. Nothing was too much trouble. The party went off with a bang, and a great time was had by all. Well done.

3 generations of our family visited for lunch and were not disappointed. The service was great and the food was just what we wanted. Beautifully presented, quality ingredients and perfectly sized portions. The chef confidently catered for my daughter's dairy allergy, which made her very happy!

We were staying the week in Brighton on the next street along from Brighton Rocks and so popped in here several times for cocktails. 2 for £10 in the late afternoon so it was excellent value and they were really nice. We tried to get Sunday lunch here but it was after 3pm and only the vege option was left... More

Sara at Brighton Rocks was amazing at helping me turn a loosely planned surprise 30th party into something that could actually work! The chefs cooked incredible food (I need the recipe for those quiches!), even though I didn't get to try the sausage rolls because they got devoured before I made it to the table. My girlfriend had a fantastic... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant on a cold rainy evening and WOW what a great place. We are an older couple and the rest of the clientele were much younger but it didn't matter. The food was amazing and the ambience warm and welcoming. We joined the games night event and it was real fun and as a result we... More

The atmosphere is lovely and friendly, which was important to me as a solo traveler. The staff were knowledgeable about the wine, and the chef was fab! The food was so tasty I went back on the second (and last) night of my trip too! The music was also the right mixture of happy and chilled. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this... More

Visited on a Saturday evening, food and service were excellent. Cocktail offer was very good value. Had the burger and Eton mess, superb quality. We would highly recommend this place for a drink, food or both. There a good friendly atmosphere there and it's near to the centre but off the beaten track. Well worth a visit.

If you haven’t eaten before at Brighton Rocks, you MUST! The food was incredible and they had a great selection of booze. The staff were very friendly and myself and my mates will definitely be coming back. Thanks also to Sara for all her help in making our meal even more enjoyable

I booked a table for Brighton Rocks this weekend for myself and 8 friends after seeing a sign outside saying that they did a Sunday Roast. Well... I'm a bit of a roast connoisseur when it comes to a Brighton roast and so I know my favourite places and chefs but I do love trowing in a wild card venue... More
