We had the most beautiful meal in at this Indian restaurant. , we went as a family, they looked after our daughter beautifully , nothing was too much trouble.
The food was excellent quality
Will be back again
The food was excellent and the staff so attentive and friendly they were lovely..Naz the owner was such a gentleman and really relates to his customers,we recomend this lace to anybody who loves there indian food.
We recently had a delivered takeaway (which arrived ahead of time!). The prawn puri was generously spiced and full of prawns, the CTM appeared to be in a thinish curry sauce with coconut in the gravy (still very nice though!). The Nan was excellent as...was the rice. All in all a very good value for money takeaway...thank you...More
We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Pavel’s this past weekend. The menu hasn’t changed much in all the years we’ve been eating here - but it’s good quality, well priced traditional, Indian fare.
We had onion bhajis & popadoms to start. I had the vegetable...biryani & my partner had the garlic chilli chicken & we shared a garlic naan. Food was excellent - wonderful rich flavours with a proper kick.
The waiters were very friendly, & the service was excellent.
Cannot fault, a lovely evening,More
We had a good welcome from the friendly and helpful staff
We were served promptly, even though they were busy, and our favourite wine was speedily delivered
Our food was really good, well cooked, very enjoyable. Staff so helpful and friendly, asking us if everyting...was good, which it certainly was
The price for what we had was incredibly reasonable, really good value.
Although we had been there before, it always feels like coming home, so thank youMore
Four of us booked in advance and arrived Friday 28th May at 8pm to a nice welcome and our table ready and waiting. We were asked if we would like some drink and pre curry poppadoms immediately. A bottle of white house was £16 and...2 bottles of 660ml Bangla beer @ £5.50 ( I actually squeezed an extra bottle in) which is very reasonable for Brighton we thought. All of this arrived promptly and was all up to expectations. Our orders were taken with speed and great knowledge and some flexibility of curry choices. The order comprised of chicken tikka and garlic balti. chicken tikka and veg balti and both came with a naan bread, We also ordered chicken tikka razella (hot) and chicken tikka dansak along with mushroom bhaji, 3 rices and an extra naan bread. All of this arrived in good time piping hot and nice and fresh. We all got stuck in and all 4 of us agreed that it was above expectations and well executed and very tasty. Then to put the "icing on the cake" we were treated to a drink of our choice on the house so we chose 3 coffees and a brandy which was a nice touch. So in a nutshell come to the Pavel indian restaurant and enjoy great food with great service at a great price. Our bill was £95 for the lot what a bargain. Thanks very much for a lovely meal to all at the Pavel restaurant.More
Non chain, family run Indian. Large portions- I like my food but couldn’t finish my main and only had a couple of popadoms for starter. Nice, friendly and attentive staff.
The chefs specials are nice and served well
What a disappointment considering this was once a favourite. £12.00 for 3 king prawns in the Tandoori King Prawn Masala is appallingly mean (£4.00 per prawn!!). I don’t recall that being the case when we used to dine in the restaurant, which was fairly frequent...a few years ago. Butter chicken - too little chicken and too much sugar.More
