Was looking for a good curry in Brighton and was recommended this place. Warm welcome, attentive staff and great food- definitely fit the bill. Recommended if in area

Just gorgeous food, attentive waiters and traditional Indian restaurant environment. Cannot recommend enough.

But boy, has it gone down hill, When the highlight of your meal is the poppadoms then you know you have come to a wrong choice . Having been brought up near Birmingham , I know what a balti tastes like - fresh spices ,...herbs, onion, tomato, capsicum and whatever gets thrown in. And it really tasty. It is not over cooked , bland, undefinable vegetables in blandly spiced and seasoned sauce. Despite my wife and myself have two different dishes - they tasted exactly the same. Even better, the cauliflower bhaji that arrived very late, was also similarly over cooked - and in the same sloppy sauce. Even the nan breads taste like they had come from the Co-Op down the road. If the have truly won an award as the best curry house in Brighton, then it says something about the terrible standard of Indian sub continent food in the area. Avoid - until they start trying to make an effort.More

After booking a table over the phone two weeks ahead of when we wanted to dine, we arrived at the restaurant only to be greeted with confused faces and mumbling when we explained that we had a reservation. Luckily, we were able to be seated....We had to get the waiter's attention to order our drinks, main courses, more drinks, coffee and then the bill - which we had to ask for twice! The food itself was lovely but I am afraid the service was appalling. I felt as though we were an inconvenience to then, rather than welcomed diners. We won't be going back.More

The food here is amazing. It is the best Asian food I’ve ever had in my life. The customer service is immaculate and they are such nice people. Will definitely recommend this restaurant if your looking for food with beautiful flavours and good vibes!!

This is a little gem of a restaurant. We had the most amazing Dhansak here, possibly the best ever. Whoever is doing the cooking is first class and knows about spicing and balance. Everyone was very welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive. Thoroughly recommend.

As a vegetarian I found a good selection of things to eat, and very enjoyable too. Staff friendly and attentive. Definitely a place to return to.

I was ordering takeaway and while I waited one of the members of staff gave me a free drink while I waited!! :) the staff was really good, atmosphere was great and last but not least the food was amazing.
