Six of us went for a family lunch and were not disappointed. We ate off the main menu rather than the lunch specials menu (really good value) and had mixed starters for six and then each ordered a main course and shared it all. Everything was very good but the highlight was a duck special dish which was incredible. We... More

Service is very friendly but the food is average. Tom Kha soup bowl was full of steamed onion. Literally 50% of the bowl was onion! Other ingredients very basic. Altogether it turned this rich flavor thai soup into a flat tasting sour bowl of something. Prawn phad thai had prawns with full shell on, which is very strange and inconvinent.... More

Nice little restaurant close to the center. The afternoon three-course meal deal is super cheap and super tasty. Good selection of vegetarian options. Staff were friendly. Sad to sabai-bye!

I've been going to Sabai Thai for several years and it has continued to get better and better. The food is always freshly cooked and very tasty- we try different dishes and are never disappointed. The staff are always friendly and helpful and it is great value too- highly recommend!

We were a party of 5 for lunch time. They have a lunchtime menu with starter £9,95, brilliant, we all had something different and loved it all. Could be best Thai in Brighton 🍴👍

We went as a group of 8 on Saturday evening, we sat on a low table with cushions which was cosy and cute (there are chairs and tables too!). The staff were very welcoming, the atmosphere was great, and the food absolutely delicious with good size portions. Great value for money and we had a great evening :)

Awesome, only way to describe the whole experience. We were a group of 6 people and had not booked ahead. When we arrived we we greeting straighaway with a big smile, and an apology they didn't have a table for 6 ready, so would we please wait 5 minutes. Once the table was set up, we were immediately invited to... More

Great food, reasonable service and typical local price. You can sit on the floor traditional style or on regular seating; if you have a bladder issue, make sure you are near the loo as the waterfall, which is a great feature, can have t.hat effect on you, especially if yOu have had a couple of beers. Their definition of hot... More

Sabai show's tremendous consistency having won a certificate of excellence award for the last 4 years running. The Thai word Sabai translates simply as relaxed, the perfect description of this Brighton gastrobar where the urban cool of London on Sea is matched to the ethnic charm of the Land of Smiles. Bringing a taste of Phuket's beach bars and Bangkok's most upmarket restaurants to the UK, Sabai is all about chilling out, South East Asian style a fact which is patently clear from the silk floor cushions, cocktail menu and warm, smiling welcome. The deep red and dark wood, gold and green interior is as beautiful as Sabai's freshly cooked, authentic food, MSG free and made using local ingredients where possible and imported Thai herbs and spices where essential. Because everything is made to order, special requests are welcomed.
