Superb food and great service, what more could you ask for! Loads of gluten free options as well! I especially love the Stay Chicken and Masaman curry! You're missing out if you've never been!

We went to this restaurant after an afternoon out in Brighton, mainly because I fancied some tempura. My first impression of the restaurant was that the decor looked rather tired and dated, but we received a friendly welcome and were served promptly. I ordered tempura prawns, tempura vegetables and prawn pad thai and my husband ordered coconut prawns and prawn... More

Excellent one of the best Thais in Brighton. Must book though as very popular. Not as expensive as Giggling Squid which charges as much as it can get away with.

This really was the worse restaurant I have been to. It was freezing cold inside no heating apart from when you first walk in the door or out with a blow heater. Had to ask for my coat back and put it on. Was seated near the door so every time it opened got a freezing cold draft. The decor... More

Dear Joy, It always saddens us to read that someone has had a disappointing experience at Sabai. I would like to respond to your comments. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but thankfully for my hard working family and all the staff that work for us, the majority of our customers think we're an excellent restaurant with great food... Sawat di Ka Khun Allison Oh we do love our customers. It's words like these that make our staff come to work with a spring in their step! :) Thank you very much for the kind words. Look forward to seeing you again soon! KInd regards Wilawan More

I would highly recommend Sabai for New Year's Eve! The menu is very good value at £26.95 for 4 courses and a glass of prosecco and the food is wonderful every time! The staff are friendly and didn't rush us at all which was lovely. I love the red duck curry in particular and my whole table enjoyed the night... More

No complaints about the Sabai. It's in a nice location. Small intimate restaurant. Staff obliging especially when we asked for a break in between courses. Good menu choices. Value for money. We ate off the lunch menu. Food was good. The Tom Yung soup was great. I do however love the Thai restaurants whose interiors are authentically decorated and have... More

We often eat here when we are in Brighton (3 or 4 times a year) and visited today 18/12/16. As always the food was lovely and tasteful with great flavour. The drinks, especially the margarita cocktails were excellent if not probably the best we tried in Brighton. We were given time to have our meal in peace and nothing was... More

Description
Sabai show's tremendous consistency having won a certificate of excellence award for the last 4 years running. The Thai word Sabai translates simply as relaxed, the perfect description of this Brighton gastrobar where the urban cool of London on Sea is matched to the ethnic charm of the Land of Smiles. Bringing a taste of Phuket's beach bars and Bangkok's most upmarket restaurants to the UK, Sabai is all about chilling out, South East Asian style a fact which is patently clear from the silk floor cushions, cocktail menu and warm, smiling welcome. The deep red and dark wood, gold and green interior is as beautiful as Sabai's freshly cooked, authentic food, MSG free and made using local ingredients where possible and imported Thai herbs and spices where essential. Because everything is made to order, special requests are welcomed.
