I recently came here with my daughter for an afternoon meal, we were greeted and sat promptly and ran through the specials by a very cheery waiter. We enjoyed a few tapas and a bowl mussels with a couple of glasses of wine. The food was outstanding!! The service was brilliant, (I enjoyed who I believed is the managers sense... More

A real jem of a restaurant. I recommend the suckling pig and the Paella. The ingredients are fresh, the portion size is enough to leave you full and happy. Great atmosphere, headed up by a host with an amazing personality who will take care of all your tables needs.

We have been to this restaurant a few times now and sadly it seems to be going downhill. We really hope it gets back to the high standards of a few years ago. The menu is now very limited and not very interesting. our score is partly based on how great it used to be. Please please please get back... More

Had a lovely meal, including meat and fish dish. Both of us loved the food, service and atmosphere. Would highly recommend this as a good restaurant.

We had a home delivery which we have had previously had on two occasions and was excellent. On this occasion it was very much below par. We order from AguaDulce because it is made to order and we have some intolerance requests (no salt, onion or garlic) which they always oblige with. I do understand that these are key ingredients... We devoured dishes of flavoursome tapas along with bread to mop up the delicious oils and sauces and enjoyed it so much we re-ordered the same again! Utterly delicious prawns, chorizo, pardon peppers etc. A lovely atmosphere, we were well looked-after, we only wish we lived in Brighton as we would be here all the time!

We decided up come to this restaurant as we both adore Tapas and as we were in Brighton for the weekend jumped at the chance of trying a different Tapas restaurant. It was a Friday night and the weather outside was hideous, I'm not sure whether this had an effect on the ambience of the restaurant but unfortunately there was... More

Firstly let's get it out there, awesome tapas! Felt a bit sorry for the lovely waiter who was looking after us, he got ambushed with drinks orders of all varieties and seemed to be handling us alone for the majority of the evening. I would comment that we probably would have spent more on drinks if the speed of service... More

We took for in laws here for dinner and had a really enjoyable evening. The first waitress we had could have been a bit more polite but it wasn't a huge issue. We ordered two tapas dishes each first and then ordered another two. Portion size was OK, medium for a tapas place. We enjoyed the food although the chickpea... More

I have never been in a restaurant after making a booking and made to feel like I was in the way! We walked out before even ordering The customer service was totally rubbish. We had booked on line for a table for 2 at 8.30...we arrived at 8.30 and were completely ignored for 10 minutes, were barged past by staff,... More

Description
Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.
