Authentic Spanish tapas, lots of seafood options, good atmosphere and service. Only downside is the dark interior but that's a minor complaint.

I have been here for a dinner with my work colleagues and I have to say we have been really well. We opted for a tapas menu to start, with a really huge choice of tapas from seafood to meat based. I suggest you the shark, that was delicious, the "pulpo a la gallega" and as well the rockfish that... More

The restaurant is a bit dark, quality is not great but not bad, I don't suggest the jamon(dry and not much taste) try the paella instead. We were also overcharged 1 glass of wine, service was friendly and efficient ...

The prices may seem a bit high on the tapas menu but the portions are huge and the quality, excellent. We had scallops, 2 kinds of mussels, anchovies, octopus, garlic prawns, lobster, manchego, all very tasty and hot. I highly recommend this restaurant for true Spanish tapas lovers.

Excellent friendly efficient service and OMG such divine flavours in all of the different 14 tapas dishes we ate. Loved all of them ! Hard to pick a favourite but loved the spinach and chickpea stew and the aubergine with honey and balsamic (normally hate aubergine!!!). Really wonderful authentic Spanish cuisine and they went above and beyond singing Happy Birthday... More

Nice family run restaurant, fair prices and very tasty paella :) Paella takes a while to be ready everywhere and they do state this on the menu (up to 45 min). Our paella took a while longer than this and I was getting upset about it when 1) we were told that our paella got burnt and they had to... More

Ok, first up, I'm a regular at this place. I've become friends with Carlos the owner and I'm telling you that up-front as I need to state that I'm really not biased. I do think this should make my review kind of more valid for this reason. I live in Brighton and I'm a pretty good cook myself, but I... More

I've been here before and loved the place. It is quite unassuming from the outside but nicely set out inside. The atmosphere is such that the lighting is low - which is fine if that's what you want. Anyway recommended this to my friends when we were altogether for a night out. If Spanish food is your thing you'll love... More

Tasty food, reasonable value for money, friendly stuff. Good place for a nice, honest meal - could do with a little change of the (very) plain decor.

Description
Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.
