I cannot recommend this restaurant more, why? Because it was a fantastic evening full of laughter, drinks and amazing food. Booked for a 50th Birthday, I wanted somewhere that followed in the birthday boy's family traditions and he wasn't disappointed. The restaurant had food and drink from his Parents region of Spain and all 6 diners were impressed with the... More

Popped in here for pudding and brandies at the end of a night out. Not been before so delighted with delicious cream catalana. Even better was the masterclass the owner gave us on how to drink Spanish brandies! We will be back for more...

We have just returned from our holiday in Aguadulce Spain where this restaurant was originally, so still in holiday mode we tried it. The waiter was great, very helpful to our gluten intolerent friend & to us all about the food and wine. We had a good selection of tapas which were fab just like we had been eating days... More

The staff are very friendly. This restaurant maybe one of the best Tapas restaurants I have frequented. The food is of exceptional quality and the plates are bigger than most tapas. Skate wing come highly recommended.

Went there with my girlfriend. Food was ecstatic and not that pricey for what it was. I hugely recommend this place.

I took my parents here, as it was near their seafront hotel and had good reviews on this website. I can only go by our own experience, but I find it hard to understand why it has a high score. There are better tapas restaurants in Brighton. The interior is dim, with no real character or atmosphere while the rear... More

I'm latin american, our cooking tradition is intertwined with the Spanish cuisine, and I love and know extensively many Spanish traditional dishes. I was amazed about the quality of all the dishes we had. If I closed my eyes, I could have convinced myself I was in Spain. The Spanish Tortilla was sublime. I also recommend Gambas al Ajillo or... The layout of the restaurant was cosy and dim, which was nice in a way. The exterior wasn't too flashy either, which made for a nice mellow crowd. The servers were very helpful and polite, and service was quick too. Ordered the pulpo (octopus), Aroz negro (squid ink paella), patatas, and some other fish dish. Portions were generous for its... We visited Aguadulce, a group of 8 friends.. we ordered 2 Paella's and a range of Tapas dishes.. the food was stunning! Beautiful authentic Spanish food.. favourites were the aubergine in honey & balsamic and the goats cheese... amazing! Prices are good too... would definitely recommend and will hopefully return one day.

Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.
