First time in this lovely restaurant, we were welcomed by a great staff and delicious food. Really enjoyed fried chorizo, octopus and mixed seafood. Fair prices, warm and nice atmosphere. Totally recommended.

We called in on spec on a Friday evening in August and were lucky to get a table. The place was busy, and the waiters were struggling to cope. However, after a few slurps of the reasonable house wine we didn't notice. We ordered the seafood paella, which was cooked to order taking around 40 minutes (time for more slurps).... More

A large group of us visited on a Saturday evening having read the reviews on Tripadvisor. Due to our number the waiter suggested he brought a selection of dishes for us to share. We were given roast suckling pig, clams, chorizo with blue cheese, mussels, fried aubergine, padron peppers and more... We all enjoyed most of it, some preferring dishes... More

I visited AguaDulce on a relatively quiet Sunday as a last minute idea suggested by my girlfriend, after another restaurant we intended to eat at transpired to be booked up (although we could see tables were clearly available). Far from being substandard, however, AguaDulce lived up to our expectations comfortably. The tapas we shared was diverse, tasty and well-presented, with... More

We were recommended to come and eat here by a Spanish friend who told us the food was really good and very authentic and we were not disappointed. We ordered a mixed paella which was hot, fresh and delicious as well as being packed with seafood and chicken. We also ordered lots of tapas dishes - padron peppers, jamon serrano,... More

After seeing some amazing reviews of this place, we decided to try out AguaDulce for dinner on Saturday. We ordered a lot of tapas from the menu - some amazing things there like octopus, morcilla etc - and had a lovely bottle of wine. Food came pretty quickly in stages, and generally was ok. Two dishes I ordered were not... More

We had a family meal there for my son's 21st birthday. There were 8 of us altogether. We had a selection of tapas followed by paella. For tapas we chose padron peppers, chorizo in red wine, calamari, albondigas, mushrooms and fritatta. All were excellent and cooked to perfection. We also had the bread and aoli, which was lovely and light.... More

We went in 5 with no booking and they were fully booked. They squeezed us in and the food was amazing. Probably the best calamari I can remember

I ate here with my boyfriend on our last trip to Brighton. The food was excellent, amazing fish soup (definitely the best dish we tried), great octopus in tomato sauce and a beautiful lobster and squid paella. The seafood is incredibly fresh and tasty and I would love to go back to this restaurant to try all of their other... More

Description
Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.
