small menu / but tasty and well priced ... friendly staff and good service .. I have looked at some of the comments on here and am surprised.. This is a cafe !! Spanish / Catalan style / not a posh place for pre show dinner ... hey ho... we will go back

Absolutely delightful. True Spanish flavour and ambience. Staff superb. I shouldn't advertise its existence, just keep it relatively secret compared with its better-known neighbours! Treasure it. And consider the price as a treat for yourself!

Service was abrupt. Waitress was Close to rude. Using responses such as "what?" When repeating a menu request. Food was mediocre. The menu variety was average at best and uninspiring. The food itself was mildly warm. And they know how to charge too. Definitely wouldn't ever go to the restaurant again.

Went with wife for pre show dinner. Had been before and thought was excellent but this time round felt as if the staff didn't know what they were doing. In the end got charged £60 for 4 plates of tapas and a bottle of sangria. Think I got charged for someone else's meal. I should have checked but had show... More

Good tapas, reasonable prices, great wine! Enjoyed it, although I can see why some criticise, I had a very good meal.

We went to this restaurant having spotted it before, however it was dead. No wonder the food wasn't that good at all. The wine & sangria were great, hence why I have given 2 stars. The meatballs came out in under a minute after ordering! Along with a hair in one of them! The potatoes brava were basic with same... More

Thanks for your feedback and are sorry to hear you weren't satisfied with the quality of our food. However, we find it rather offensive and defamatory to call our restaurant a microwave Spanish restaurant, when we would like to stress that we use freshly ingredients, many of them delivered daily to our premises and ALL food is prepared freshly on... Don't bother, really is not worth it when there are so many other places to eat where food is prepared fresh. Probably don't rely on repeat business but tourists. shame.

This restaurant is in a lovely location and has a nice atmosphere. But my God the food is bad, and worse - it's visibly ALL microwaved. I sat in full view of the kitchen and watched as the waitresses (no sign of chefs) prepared and then reheated in a microwave every single one of our tapas. And you could tell.

Simple yet tasty Spanish tapas. Garlic prawns were amazing, good quality chorizo and the meatballs the best I've had for a while. Washed down with a couple of jugs of sangria.

Old style traditional restaurant. Small but good menu. Very very reasonable. Lovely friendly Spanish staff too. Like being in Spain. Will come again.
