This restaurant in the lanes, is in my opinion a hidden gem. Amongst the hype of Brighton restaurants this little one is a gem. The staff are great and the chef most accomplished. The food is fresh and lovingly prepared and absolutely delicious. Five star...don’t miss it.More

To be honest, I can't even remember what main course I had here (I think it was the fishcakes), but I wasn't disappointed with the quality of the service or the food. Maybe a bit more chilli needed in the Gambas pil pil starter..? Arranged...to meet friends here and it was a ideal choice; small, intimate and friendly, with good food too. The rest of the group also had a great time.More

The young gentleman that served us was polite friendly and nothing was too much trouble, he helped us with the menu and gave us exemplary service. The meal was speedy and fresh, The side were perfect and well prepared. The Steaks had loads of favour...and cooked exactly how we asked. I would recommend eating here any time. I hope the manager knows how well his staff perform and gives them the credit due. Thanks loads.More

We ate her for two nights out of three and I always book here when visiting Brighton. We were not disappointed, the service was friendly and welcoming as always and the food was delicious. We had olives to start which are the best I've ever...tasted and for the main I had the chicken blue cheese and my friend had the seabass fillets. The house wine was very good and not expensive and both of us chose the chicken blue cheese the second visit as it was so good. I can't wait for my next visit and look forward to another great evening. I can also recommend the steak and the breakfasts from previous visits. The specials board is also worth a look.More

We found this hidden gem by chance, and so glad we did! Wow! Service and Food both amazing. We were slightly delicate so we ordered hair of the dog - bloody mary which was super delicious, followed by eggs benedict and a full english. We...will defo return next year. The guy who served us was really attentive and had time for everyone. Its lovely to see!More

Booked this restaurant for a meal with friends. The food is excellent, our friends both had steaks which they said were perfectly cooked. I had the poulet basquaise which was very nice. The only reason I didn’t give this place five stars is because most...of the meals don’t come with any chips or sauces and you have to order these separately. This makes the meal quite a bit more expensive. I do feel that if you order a steak it should include chips. They also add the service charge onto the bill, as do most of the restaurants in Brighton and London, however we paid it for the food and the atmosphere. I would recommend.More

The place is nice and well located. The service was friendly and precise. Unfortunately the food was in the average. The casserole tasted too peppercorn and the cream had an heavy butter flavour

Lovely little restaurant. Visited here earlier this week. Food was delicious. My partner had liver and bacon (big portion) and said it’s the best he’d ever tasted. My chicken in a beautiful tomatoey sauce with onions and peppers was equally tasty. Our waiter, Abe, was...excellent and very friendly. Will definitely revisit when we’re next in Brighton.More

There was food suitable for vegetarians on the menu which is online to view and no need for such an agressive comment.
