Fantastic location with wonderful views. Brought family here for lunch and was not disappointed. Burgers were delicious and triple cooked chips were perfect. Ploughmans was top drawer. Service was excellent. All in all a great dining experience.

Fantastic location yes. Fantastic service no. You would think that ordering two pots of tea could not possibly go wrong. Well it did. We had a long wait at the counter despite the place being half empty. Then the wrong tea arrived. Last time we went there, they had run out of some things on the menu. How they cope... More

Another thoroughly pleasant lunch at the Durlston Country Park eatery - a must-visit every year, when we are on holiday in Purbeck. Delicious goat's cheese salad for me - which I'd remembered enjoying last year, and did so again. 15 y/o son had burger in brioche bun - also very good - as were the accompanying chunky chips. Staff were... More

Well, first time here and maybe the last. I advise reading this whole review so you know what it's REALLY like here. We came here from Swanage Coastal Park to have a walk through the forest (20 minute walk) and we got hungry when we looked at the views from the castle. So we came downstairs from the view and... Lunching at the Seventh Wave restaurant in Durlston Castle, Swanage promised to be a scenic and gastronomical experience. Commanding panoramic views across the sea to Old Harry Rocks, the restaurant provided a wide variety of main dishes. I eagerly awaited the traditional English meal, 'Ploughman's Lunch'. The arrival of the main course proved to be a disappointment. A few slithers... More

Stopped off for a snack and drinks with the family. We all enjoyed our food and drinks although the café appeared to be rather short staffed for the numbers of customers present.

We went to the cafe for a cooked breakfast but we're left so disappointed and wishing we had gone to one of the town cafes instead. The sausages were cold and blackened on one side & pale on the other, I couldn't eat them. The bacon had seen very little heat and was very pale. One breakfast arrived without butter... More

There are fantastic views all around. The outdoor tables allow you to make the most of the surroundings. The food is good with a good selection. Inside is light and airy with lots of windows. The staff are Friendly and the service is good. someone on another table were complaining about something but it all seemed good to us! It's... More

After walking the coastal path this is just the perfect place to have a rest with a drink and good food, we went on a sunny day, so it was busy but well worth it.
