Waitresses didn't seem to be that happy, most meals too expensive apart from a few items which were more like starters/snacks than a meal. Had a toasted sandwich and it was blatantly cheap bread. The mediocre portion of salad (small) was in a vinagrette which also seemed a cheap way to make a profit. Friend had chips which tasted like... More

We visited here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and we were presently surprised. The decor is nice kind of rustic. The food was scrumpy, good portion size and quick to be served. The prices are good and very reasonable. Definitely worth visiting we will be going back.

Lovely little place, lovely staff apart from one!!! My son is only 2 years old, he was kicking his feet on a chair making a slight noise, we told him many times to stop, but there's only so many times you can tell a 2 year old. No one else was bothered apart from one who we THINK was the... More

I've visited Beavers on a number of occasions over the years. The staff are friendly, the food good (and hot) and reasonably generous portions. There is a standard menu, plus a blackboard with a variety of specials. For lunch I usually choose something off the blackboard - I have never been disappointed. Pricing is not the absolute cheapest, but certainly... More

We spent Christmas in Swanage and visited Beavers for lunch the day before Christmas Eve. Lovely atmosphere - the open fire meant the cafe was warm, and great food again - we all had toasted sandwiches and chips. Good service and good value for money - thank you!

Took 23 month old and 7 year old out for lunch. Staff were friendly, helpful and super efficient. They cooked extra fish fingers for my youngest grand daughter to have and share chips with her 7 year old cousin. One of the lovely ladies even sat with them while I visited the 'ladies room' as for the carrot and coriander... More
