Bearing in mind this visit was at just gone 20:00 and it was soon to turn the Closed sign round, it wasn't a bad effort, the staff were very polite, accommodating and efficient, even though they had probably dealt with 100's of seaside visitors throughout the day. My wife and I selected items from the menu, which were typical Cafe... More

After visiting last year and having a good meal we decided to visit again whilst on holiday this year. Never again, ordered the cottage pie with rich gravy, when it arrived there was more mashed potato than meat, and where was the gravy !!!! I did question this and was told that's how it comes, I did eat it as... More

We were drawn to this restaurant as it looked so lovely inside, all the staff were very smiley, and we were served very quickly, the food was exactly as we had ordered it and it came hot and tasty in a few minutes. Very pleasant!

Our party of 8 (four friends and four children) visited here for dinner. The service was faultless. The waitresses so accommodating with the children. The menu is small but all tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food. They had a children's menu and we're also happy to split or offer smaller portions of the main menu. Yummy puddings and generous portion sizes.... More

We were trying to find somewhere to eat for 8, which isn't always easy, and the staff were very accommodating. The service was quick and efficient. They were friendly and dealt with any queries quickly. There was not a long wait for food and there was a good amount - we struggled to finish it. However we did make room... More

Great food, plenty of choice, good portion sizes (we dithered over whether we would manage dessert!) and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was busy but we didn't feel hurried at all. Would definitely recommend. We visited just for a coffee on one day and then an evening meal on another.

We holiday in Swanage every year and look forward to popping into Beavers for a drink, snack or meal. The service is quick and good and the food very tasty. My favourite is the lasagne, which comes with salad and garlic bread. The milkshakes are a must too - thick and frothy and served as a generous portion, divided between... More
