Wonderful traditional atmosphere at this pub with a good selection of beers and home cooked meals at reasonable prices. I recommend the fajitas, which were brilliant and all for £7.

We had heard about this pub, as a friend frequently eats and drinks here when visiting Sherborne. Made a lunch time visit for a snack as we had a tasting menu booked for the evening. There was a pasta dish on the menu at a very reasonable price, which possibly meant that it was not too large. Big mistake !... More

An oldy world pub with loads of character and charm. Beer was good quality real ale and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Will definately revisit when next in Sherbourne.

This is a lovely proper old school traditional pub with a wide selection of beers, wines & spirits. The food looked and tasted great and was served quickly. The prices reflected the area and was reasonably priced.

Superb pub. Beautiful real ale great food great atmosphere in a old style pub . No loud music or tvs on all the time so you can have a conversation over a pint in peace while soaking up the unique atmosphere. Enjoy. I do.

Nice pub absolutely packed with people for the 2 hours we were there on a Thursday evening from 6 to 8 - a good sign but no idea why or if always that busy! As a consequence only one real ale on when we first arrived but that was soon rectified. Difficult to find a seat when first arrived but... More

This is a proper pub with flagstone floors, loads of relevant memorabilia of famous folk who have visited, and of course a good range of beers. Lunchtime you can get their home-made meals for usually well under a Tenner. What's not to like?

found this tucked away gem whilst looking for a Saturday lunch. First impressions - no frills old fashioned pub - very busy but managed to find a table "out the back". Good menu variety - my friend's first choice of mixed grill was not available so she settled for rump steak which did not disappoint - good sized portion with... More

Good beer and a real pub. We always pop in on a Sunday and the Digby never disappoints. Yes it's not a show pub, it's a proper pub. Nothing fancy, but a great place for good beer and some pub grub at google prices.
