Nice pub absolutely packed with people for the 2 hours we were there on a Thursday evening from 6 to 8 - a good sign but no idea why or if always that busy! As a consequence only one real ale on when we first arrived but that was soon rectified. Difficult to find a seat when first arrived but... More

This is a proper pub with flagstone floors, loads of relevant memorabilia of famous folk who have visited, and of course a good range of beers. Lunchtime you can get their home-made meals for usually well under a Tenner. What's not to like?

found this tucked away gem whilst looking for a Saturday lunch. First impressions - no frills old fashioned pub - very busy but managed to find a table "out the back". Good menu variety - my friend's first choice of mixed grill was not available so she settled for rump steak which did not disappoint - good sized portion with... More

Good beer and a real pub. We always pop in on a Sunday and the Digby never disappoints. Yes it's not a show pub, it's a proper pub. Nothing fancy, but a great place for good beer and some pub grub at google prices.

Tatty around the edges, little tucked away tables but this makes for a great atmosphere in which to enjoy a lunch time sandwich or meal with a nice beer. Staff always helpful and friendly and the food is wholesome and excellent vfm.

After a visit to Sherborne Castle, my husband and I found ourselves at the Digby Tap on the recommendation of a friend. The entrance is tucked off busy Cook Street at the side of a pleasant graveled patio with tables for alfresco meals and drink. Inside the pub is a bit of a rabbit warren of hallways, small rooms and... More

Had a fantastic steak and ale pie on Pack Monday, The best pie I've ever had. Go and try it. Beer must be the cheapest in Sherborne.
