Lovely lunch, caters for all pockets! Sweet outdoor seating area and loads of room upstairs and down. Good wines.

Hottest day of the year it was nice to able to sit in a quite garden and drink milk shake. the strawberry was better than the chocolate. The cooked meals looked great and so did the door step sandwiches. It was too hot for a big meal nice to see toasted tea cakes and other light bites. We will be... More

After having read some good reviews on TA. My partner and I thought we'd try it out for some brunch. The place is lovely and we sat outside in the garden at the back which was delightful. The service is very quick. However, I ordered filter coffee, orange juice and full breakfast. Firstly the filter coffee was brewed far too... More

Enjoyed chirozo burger, very tasty chips, not too many, good salad portion. Service was fine, busy lunch time. Definitely go again.

Walking along the main high street in Dorchester, you see an unassuming sign saying Potters Cafe, directing you down a side street. As you make your way down it's easy to be tempted into the other places to eat, as the nice smells waft around. We almost stopped at the first restaurant/cafe, but we decided to go a little farther... More

We had an impromptu lunch in Dorchester, and found this gem in a little side street off the main shopping street. We found a table upstairs and the staff were very quick to serve us. They hadn't warned us about the size of the portions - not something I would want to complain about by any means - but worth... More

Very tasty lunch - cheddar and Dorset apple pickle baguette, washed down with a coffee. Really pretty bistro with a lovely garden (for when it's not lashing down with rain!).

Lovely café to sit in or out, but we prefer outside when it is sunny. My partner and I met here 4 years ago, having not seen each other for over 30 years. We can definitely recommend the Dorset apple cake - absolutely delicious !

Potters has never failed to be excellent food at great value. Sunshine in the courtyard garden was a bonus. Fresh hot pot of tea first was strong and good, none of the anaemic stuff others serve. Macaroni cheese was super cheesy with salad and thick whole meal bread and goat cheese and home made chutney jacket potato a proper sized... More
