Went on Sunday and as well as having a good meal at very reasonable prices we got the chance to join a fun quiz and despite not winning we had a great time, if you are a beer buff they have a wide range of cask beers to enjoy. Well worth a visit

Down in Bournemouth attending a conference and decided to take a walk from my hotel, the Goat was close by and the menu looked good. My dinner turned up quickly, was well cooked and tasted better than I expected. The Goat has some great ales and is close to the centre of Bournemouth, you'll struggle to find a better pub.

We found this pub very nice, we only stopped for a drink before heading somewhere else, but would of liked to have stayed longer, if you like your beers, there are a great selection of real ales, we will try there food the next time we are there.

Stopped here with a work colleague. They have a nice patio area to relax and enjoy your pint. Several different seating options, so something for everyone. I don't know about the food, but beer options are nice. I would visit again.

Decided to eat here on our weekend away as its dog friendly. Bar staff very nice. Brought a water bowl out for the dog. Several local real ales to choose from together with well known lagers. Food was excellent. I chose the bacon and cheese burger and my wife had the lasagne. Both very tasty and reasonably priced. Very high... More

A very traditional pun with a fantastic selection or real ales. Welcoming staff allow you to taste before you buy and you can even have a 3 x 1/3 of a pint taster paddle. Even has a good outside area.

Great traditional pub. Good selection of real beers, friendly bar staff and varied menu. Ate here twice. The food was good. I would have liked to have seen sandwiches and toasties on the menu, otherwise perfect.

After reading the reviews about being a great dog friendly pub we searched to find it and really enjoyed the visit. Must say doesn't look much from the outside but inside is a traditional welcoming English pub which is dog friendly and had a nice outside seating area. Great choice of real are which you can taste 3 thirds for... More
