2 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Was expecting great things but left very disappointed. This is a restaurant trying to be fine dining, the prices certainly are, but has no idea how to be. My crab starter tasted ok but was full of bits of shell and was in need of some sort of bread to eat all the sauces, it was very wet. I pointed... More

Great location and really good staff. We had the set lunch menu of two courses, whilst it's a bit more than you would pay for a restaurant inland you get an amazing view and staff thrown in! All the negative comments surprise me!

Visited with family and whilst the views are absolutely fantastic and the restaurant looks great the food was not worth the hefty price tags on the menu. We had chateaubriand and it was OK but presentation let it down as did the accompanying sauces which were no better than Tesco own brand. Overall it is worth while for the views... More

£20 for 3 courses and the stunning view overlooking the coastline. What could be better? My asparagus with goats cheese mousse and hazelnuts easily beat the mackerel dish which was not particularly exciting. The crispy fish & chips with perfect mushy peas was straight from the fryer - piping hot and very crunchy/crispy. Lovely. Had to have a small break... More

Magnificent location with superb views to the Old Harry Rocks . Extensive menu with good food and wine and excellent service The only problem is that there is no car park but there is a public car park nearby . Best come by taxi. Thoroughly recommend for a special occasion

I could not fault the service in this restaurant; the staff were polite and attentive, and the courses followed each other promptly without being rushed. The food was good but overpriced for what it was. £90 for starter and main for 2 people. We visited on a Thursday evening and had no problems parking on the road. It was odd... More

Very memorable restaurant with fantastic views and food to match. Plan ahead, as you will need to book in advance. A great place for that special occasion, but you get what you pay for, so this restaurant is not the cheapest place to be if you're on a budget.

We both enjoyed our first visit to this gem of a restaurant. The staff are attentive and we had excellent service at lunch time with a perfect table with views out to sea and towards Bournemouth. The menu was interesting and well balanced, our meal was beautifully cooked, an accolade to the chef. Some seats outside and a private dining... More

I cannot believe anyone could have anything negative to say about this restaurant. Just had a great birthday lunch. Food exquisite and staff attentive and professional. Thanks for adding to my birthday experience.
