Good food in lively surroundings

Great choice of Mexican themed food on the menu and good service. I was here alone, as I was away for work, but made to feel welcome and provided with a nice table in the window. The chilli is very good and the house red wine very drinkable.

Food was disgusting, £14.45 for a plate of pasta with a handful of chicken, flavourless.. And very over priced... Wine & soda £4.00 per glass... No atmosphere and 3 of us had dodgy tummies...won't go again

Used to be great, now it's just too much food piled on a plate with barely any flavour. Not enjoyable at all. There are much nicer places to eat in this area.

Great food never disappoints! Friendly helpful staff and good value for money. Superb drink selection although I do miss the frozen margaritas!

I used to really enjoy eating at jingles and hadn't been for a number of years so thought I would give it a try. The restaurant had a funny smell (like dirty toilets) not very pleasant at all. The food was overpriced, very bland rice tasted like cheap packet rice, not real Mexican at all!! Service was appalling despite numerous... More

The service was excellent. All of the girls serving were very efficient and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was average if I am honest, but it wasn't badly priced as far as restaurants go. My hubby had the 22oz Rib Eye steak which looked wonderful. He enjoyed it but I didn't like my meal at all.... More

I have been to jingles in the past and have previously really enjoyed it. I went as part of a work Christmas do this time, the food was quite average with some enjoying it and some not liking it at all. After the meal we were sitting around when a massive rat runs across the room! That is just completely... More

I'm sorry to see your review, and to hear you believe our food to be inconsistent as we always aim for quality and consistency, as we have done over the past 26 years, and as many of our reviews and long-term regulars will attest. The unfortunate incident involving a small brown rodent was a totally isolated incident, and I was... More
