We took my mother in law to Babacombe for a walk on the cliff top park to take in the wonderful panoramic views Today we could see all around the coast as far as Exmouth on a bright sunny day Anyway we popped into this busy tea shop This was not our first time here and we enjoyed the last... More

Took my elderly step mum here for a special lunch. We were both taken aback by the unfriendly and rude manner of the young waitress who served us. She rather sternly reminded us to choose from the menu as they would need the table back by 1.30. It was only 12.15. The manager too was rather brusque and the whole... More

Great for morning coffee after a walk on Babbacombe Downs. Excellent pastries. Afternoon Cream Tea a major delight. Lovely setting, eclectic decor with cherubs (angels) and the staff look as if they really enjoy working there so it's a fun experience worth repeating. Love the mis-matched old fashioned tea services, very quirky and fun.

We went here for afternoon tea as we have visited a couple of years ago and loved it. Things have changed a bit now. We almost didn't get to have a table as we hadn't pre booked one, this was new to us as we had never had to book before. The many decorative hanging angels and feathers and pretty... More

A cosy tearoom, but one which offers more than just a traditional tea. The owners are staying ahead of the game with a wide choice of scones, teas, drinks as well as cakes and meals. The scones are generous in size and great in quality. So pleased we could be fitted in. Great views across the bay if you sit... More

A lovely place! Sandwiches were ace, scones were perfect, tea was amazing, cake was huge! So huge that we couldn't eat it, forgot it, and then the waiter ran up the road to make sure we took it home. I will definitely be visiting again!

This is a must ....they do cream teas and cakes to perfection, we had a clotted cream tea, which consisted of 2 homemade scone, 2 pots of jam and a large pot of clotted cream, and I had a pot of tea, and hubby had coffee. It is well worth the cost, the service and food, and presentation was beautiful.

What a wonderful place! The scones, jams, cream, sandwiches, cake...THE LOT! It was all brilliantly done and delicious. We were pleasantly suprised by the very reasonable prices. The menu choices were great. I highly recommend the cheese scones. We'll see you again soon!

Called in here on a damp September morning some time ago when four of us were abut to start a walk on the coast path. We were met inside the door by a young man with a clipboard who asked us if we had booked. As we had not, he said they couldn't accommodate us. We were rather surprised as... More

Absolutely fantastic experience. My wife and daughter took me out for afternoon cream tea. Brilliant, quality food. Good extensive menu and adequate wine list. Great atmosphere and very friendly service. Excellent sandwiches and leaf tea and no tea bags. Very reasonable pricing on all meals.

Thank Bernard J
