Starting off upstairs in the winebar on a sunny saturday evening was great , they have a good selection of wines by the glass and good selection of gins too. Our table was for 9.15 so the restaurant was buzzing when we went downstairs to our table. The staff are enthusiastic about their work , showing us their fish for... More

Been here a few times but just recently with some friends who were visiting Torquay for the first time and wanted a nice meal but said they love fish. We took them to No 7 as we think it's by far the best in Torquay our friends loved it we introduced them to monkfish which they never had before, it... More

#7 Fish Bistro was a great find in Torquay and lives up to its reviews. While the restaurant is small the menu is large with a variety of seafood offerings. The sand sole with garlic butter and new potatoes were great. Forgetting to ask for my who,e fish to be filleted the waiter gave us a quick lesson.

We'd heard about the restaurant so stayed over in Torquay to try it and we weren't disappointed. The staff were relaxed and very friendly and the meal was to die for. The y brought out a tray of fish to show you what was on the menu and even brought out the fish you were about to eat so that... More

We made our second visit to No 7 having been a few weeks before. The food and service were excellent. The young girl in the wine bar knew her stuff and quite clearly had been trained well in customer service. It was a very hot evening and the staff worked like Trojans but still kept their cool. We had oysters... More

Booked No.7 for a special treat and we were not disappointed. We were phoned in the morning to confirm our booking and invited to arrive early and enjoy a drink before dinner which we did. Excellent friendly service. Excellent wine list Excellent food. We had the Lobster Shellfish Platter as a main course (photo attached). Perfectly cooked. Prices are what... More

A wonderful fish restaurant offering an extensive selection of amazing local fish cooked in a variety of ways. The garlic prawns were to die for as was the fish tempura and they were just the starters! Main courses we adored the skate with capers, superb monkfish and the plaice was fabulous. All were served with beautiful side dishes of imaginative... More

This restaurant is not very highly rated on Trip Advisor for nothing. Stunning choice of fish dishes. The starter we had was the best either of us could ever remember having. Overall we couldn't remember a better meal out in this country for several years. You need to book to be sure of a table.

A busy and popular seafood bistro in Torquay, I suspect due to the lack of any real competition. The service was friendly but quite slow and we waited about 25 minutes between courses. The crab salad starter was tiny for its £9.50 price tag and although my wife's main of a trio of mini fish dishes( £18) was ok, my... More

Very good Monk fish for main and prawns for starter I ordered was great Bar small but we managed to get a table which overlooks the harbour Good service Prices are London prices so no shock for us but if you are not use to paying this then I imagine it will be slightly high for some but worth it!...
