Why would you risk it? It's crazy that anyone would eat here. Unless you fancy getting ill. Best to be avoided.

I went in here on a Sunday as my usual chip shop was shut that night. My usual chip shop in comparison usually has 7 - 11 staff at any one time. Here they had one, then two when I presume the other came off...More

Called in whilst in Torquay and had 2 small portions of fish & chips after a long drive. We're northerners so have eaten lots of fish & chips over the years. Freshly cooked, perfect portion size for us (seniors) and lovely tasting. Fish (cod) was...More

Just picked up a supposed cod and chips from here and am positive that I have been given a cheaper white fish rather than cod. The taste is totally different and will not be returning.

I had been here last year and my food was fab. This week I ordered a portion of chips and a little curry sauce. The chips hardly covered the bottom of the plastic tray, and on inspection 1/3 of the potatoes were black and inedible....More

Was in Torquay for family things and paid another visit to Grandad Nic's for some fish and chips. Freshly cooked and short wait, just like the previous visit. Consistency and quality seem to be at the forefront. Will be visiting again on my next trip
